First Reading: ACTS 6:8-15

读经一（他们敌不住斯德望的智慧，因为他是藉圣神说话。）

Stephen, filled with grace and power, was working great wonders and signs among the people.

斯德望充满恩宠和德能，在百姓中显大奇迹，行大征兆。

 

Certain members of the so-called Synagogue of Freedmen, Cyreneans, and Alexandrians, and people from Cilicia and Asia, came forward and debated with Stephen,

当时，有些称为“自由人”会堂中的人，以及基勒乃和亚历山大里亚人的会堂的人，还有些属基里基雅和亚细亚会堂的人，起来同斯德望辩论；

 

but they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he spoke.

但是他们敌不住他的智慧，因为他是藉圣神说话。

 

Then they instigated some men to say, "We have heard him speaking blasphemous words against Moses and God."

于是他们便怂恿一些人，说：“我们听见他说过亵渎梅瑟和天主的话。”

 

They stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes, accosted him, seized him, and brought him before the Sanhedrin.

他们又煽动了百姓、长老和经师，一同跑来，捉住了他，解送到公议会。

 

They presented false witnesses who testified, "This man never stops saying things against this holy place and the law.

他们并设下假见证，说：“这人不断地说反对圣地和法律的话，

 

For we have heard him claim that this Jesus the Nazorean will destroy this place and change the customs that Moses handed down to us."

因为我们曾听见他说：这个纳匝肋人耶稣要毁灭这个地方，并要改革梅瑟给我们传下的常例。”

 

All those who sat in the Sanhedrin looked intently at him and saw that his face was like the face of an angel.

所有坐在公议会的人都注目看他，见他的面容好像天使的面容。

【答】：遵行上主法律的人，是有福的。

 

Though princes meet and talk against me, your servant meditates on your statutes. Yes, your decrees are my delight; they are my counselors.

领：上主，判官虽为反对我而开庭，你仆人仍默思你的章程，因为你的诫命是我的喜乐，你的典章是我的谋士。

 

R. Blessed are they who follow the law of the Lord!

【答】：遵行上主法律的人，是有福的。

 

I declared my ways, and you answered me; teach me your statutes. Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wondrous deeds.

领：我陈明我的行径，你便垂听了我，今再恳求你用你的章程教训我；请指给我你约法的路径，我要沉思你的奇妙工程。

 

R. Blessed are they who follow the law of the Lord!

【答】：遵行上主法律的人，是有福的。

 

Remove from me the way of falsehood, and favor me with your law. The way of truth I have chosen; I have set your ordinances before me.

领：求你不要使我走错误的道路，求你恩赐我常遵守你的法度。我选定了真理的途径，我矢志服从你的谕令。

【答】：遵行上主法律的人，是有福的。

 

Gospel JN 6:22-29

福音（你们不要为那些可朽坏的食粮劳碌，而要为那存留到永生的食粮劳碌。）

恭读圣若望福音 6:22-29

 

(After Jesus had fed the five thousand men, his disciples saw him walking on the sea.) The next day, the crowd that remained across the sea saw that there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not gone along with his disciples in the boat,

那时候，留在海对岸的群众，看见只有一只小船留在那里，也知道耶稣没有同他的门徒一起上船，

 

but only his disciples had left. Other boats came from Tiberias near the place where they had eaten the bread when the Lord gave thanks.

只有他的门徒走了 ── 然而从提庇黎雅有别的小船来到了，靠近我主祝谢后，人们吃饼的地方 ──

 

When the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they themselves got into boats and came to Capernaum looking for Jesus. And when they found him across the sea they said to him, "Rabbi, when did you get here?"

当群众一发觉耶稣和他的门徒都不在那里时，他们便上了那些小船，往葛法翁找耶稣去了。当群众在海对岸找着他时，就对他说：“辣彼！你什么时候到了这里？”

 

Jesus answered them and said, "Amen, amen, I say to you, you are looking for me not because you saw signs but because you ate the loaves and were filled.

耶稣回答说：“我实实在在告诉你们：你们寻找我，并不是因为看到了神迹，而是因为吃饼吃饱了。

 

Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him the Father, God, has set his seal."

你们不要为那可损坏的食粮劳碌，而要为那存留到永生的食粮劳碌，即人子所要赐给你们的，因为他是天主圣父所印证的。”

 

So they said to him, "What can we do to accomplish the works of God?" Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in the one he sent."

他们问说：“我们该做什么，才算做天主的事业呢？”耶稣回答说：“天主要你们所做的事业，就是要你们信从他所派遣来的。”
