First Reading: Rom 9:1-5

读经一（我为救我的弟兄，就是被诅咒，我也甘心情愿。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致罗马人书 9:1-5

 

Brothers and sisters: I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie; my conscience joins with the Holy Spirit in bearing me witness that I have great sorrow and constant anguish in my heart.

弟兄们：我在基督内说实话，并不说谎，有我的良心在圣神内与我一同作证：我的忧愁极大，我心中不断的痛苦；

 

For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my own people, my kindred according to the flesh.

为救我的弟兄，我血统的同胞，就是被诅咒，与基督隔绝，我也甘心情愿。

 

They are children of Israel; theirs the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises;

他们是以色列人：义子的名分、光荣、盟约、法律、礼仪以及恩许，都是他们的；

 

theirs the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.

圣祖也是他们的，并且基督按血统说，也是从他们来的；基督是在万有之上，世世代代应受赞美的天主！亚孟。

Glorify the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion. For he has strengthened the bars of your gates; he has blessed your children within you.

领：耶路撒冷，请你赞颂上主！熙雍，请你赞颂你的天主！他巩固了你城门的横闩，祝福了你的子女。

 

R. Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.

【答】：耶路撒冷，请你赞颂上主！

 

He has granted peace in your borders; with the best of wheat he fills you. He sends forth his command to the earth; swiftly runs his word!

领：他使你的四境安静不乱，用最好的麦面使你饱餐。他向大地发出自己的语言，他的圣旨便立即迅速奔传。

 

R. Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.

【答】：耶路撒冷，请你赞颂上主！

 

He has proclaimed his word to Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances to Israel. He has not done thus for any other nation; his ordinances he has not made known to them. Alleluia.

领：他向雅各伯晓示了自己的言语，他向以色列启示了自己的诫律。他从未如此恩待过其他任何民族，也没有向他们宣示过自己的法律。

Gospel LK 14:1-6

福音（你们中间，谁的儿子或牛掉在井里，在安息日那一天，不立刻拉他上来呢？）

恭读圣路加福音 14:1-6

 

On a sabbath Jesus went to dine at the home of one of the leading Pharisees, and the people there were observing him carefully.

安息日，耶稣进了一个法利塞人首领的家中吃饭；他们就留心观察他。

 

In front of him there was a man suffering from dropsy. Jesus spoke to the scholars of the law and Pharisees in reply, asking, “Is it lawful to cure on the sabbath or not?”

在他面前有一个患水臌症的人。耶稣对法学士及法利塞人说道：“安息日许不许治病？”

 

But they kept silent; so he took the man and, after he had healed him, dismissed him.

他们都默然不语。耶稣遂扶着那人，治好他，叫他走了。

 

Then he said to them "Who among you, if your son or ox falls into a cistern, would not immediately pull him out on the sabbath day?" But they were unable to answer his question.

然后向他们说：“你们中间，谁的儿子或牛掉在井里，在安息日这一天，不立刻拉他上来呢？”他们对这话无法答辩。
