First Reading: Rv 7:2-4, 9-14

读经一（ 我看见有一大伙群众，没有人能够数清，是来自各邦国、各支派、各民族、各异语的。）

恭读默示录　7:2-4,9-14

 

I, John, saw another angel come up from the East, holding the seal of the living God. He cried out in a loud voice to the four angels who were given power to damage the land and the sea,

我，若望，看见了另一位天使，从太阳东升之处上来，拿着永生天主的印，大声向那获得授权，能伤害大地和海洋的四位天使呼喊，

 

"Do not damage the land or the sea or the trees until we put the seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God."

说：“你们不可伤害大地、海洋和树木，等我们在我们天主的众仆人额上，先盖上印。”

 

I heard the number of those who had been marked with the seal, one hundred and forty-four thousand marked from every tribe of the children of Israel.

以后，我听见盖了印的数目：在以色列子孙各支派中，盖了印的，共有十四万四千。

 

After this I had a vision of a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation, race, people, and tongue.

在这些事以后，我看见有一大伙群众，没有人能够数清，是来自各邦国、各支派、各民族、各异语的；

 

They stood before the throne and before the Lamb, wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands.

他们都站在宝座和羔羊面前，身穿白衣，手持棕榈枝，

 

They cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation comes from our God, who is seated on the throne, and from the Lamb."

大声呼喊说：“救恩来自那坐在宝座上的、我们的天主，并来自羔羊！”

 

All the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They prostrated themselves before the throne, worshiped God,

于是，所有站在宝座、长老和那四个活物周围的天使，在宝座前，俯伏于地，朝拜天主，

 

and exclaimed: "Amen. Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor, power, and might be to our God forever and ever. Amen."

说：“阿们。愿赞颂、光荣、智慧、称谢、尊威、权能和勇毅，全归于我们的天主，至于无穷之世。阿们。”

 

Then one of the elders spoke up and said to me, "Who are these wearing white robes, and where did they come from?" I said to him, "My lord, you are the one who knows."

长老之中，有一位问我说：“这些穿白衣的人是谁？他们是从那里来的？”我回答他说：“我主，你知道。”

 

He said to me, "These are the ones who have survived the time of great distress; they have washed their robes and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb."

于是，他告诉我说：“这些人是由大灾难中来的；他们曾在羔羊的血中，洗净了自己的衣裳，使衣裳雪白。”

【答】：上主，这样的人，才可寻求你的仪容。

 

The LORD's are the earth and its fullness; the world and those who dwell in it. For he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.

领：大地和其中的万物，属于上主；世界和其间的居民，属于上主。是他在海洋上奠定了大地，是他在江河上建立了全世。

 

R.  Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.

【答】：上主，这样的人，才可寻求你的仪容。

 

Who can ascend the mountain of the LORD? or who may stand in his holy place? One whose hands are sinless, whose heart is clean, who desires not what is vain.

领：谁能登上上主的圣山？谁能居留在他的圣殿？是那手洁心清、不慕虚幻的人，是那不发假誓、不行欺骗的人。

 

R.  Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.

【答】：上主，这样的人，才可寻求你的仪容。

 

He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, a reward from God his savior. Such is the race that seeks him, that seeks the face of the God of Jacob.

领：他必获得上主的祝福，及拯救者天主的报酬。这样的人，是寻求上主的苗裔，是追求雅各伯天主仪容的子息。

 

R.  Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.

【答】：上主，这样的人，才可寻求你的仪容。

 

Second Reading : 1 Jn 3:1-3

读经二（我们要看见天主的真面目。）

恭读圣若望一书　3:1-3

 

Beloved: See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God. Yet so we are.

亲爱的弟兄：请看：父赐给我们何等的爱情，使我们得称为天主的子女，而且我们也真是如此。

 

The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed.

世界所以不认识我们，是因为不认识父。可爱的诸位，现在我们是天主的子女，但我们将来如何，还没有显明；

 

We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

可是，我们知道：一显明了，我们必要相似天主，因为我们要看见他实在怎样。

 

Everyone who has this hope based on him makes himself pure, as he is pure.

所以，凡对天主怀着这希望的，必圣洁自己，就如那一位是圣洁的一样。

Gospel Mt 5:1-12a

福音（你们欢喜踊跃吧！因为你们在天上的赏报是丰厚的。）

恭读圣玛窦福音　5:1-12

 

When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. He began to teach them, saying:

那时候，耶稣一见群众，就上了山，坐下；他的门徒来到他面前，他于是开口教训他们说：

 

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.

“神贫的人是有福的，因为天国是他们的。哀恸的人是有福的，因为他们要受安慰。温良的人是有福的，因为他们要承受土地。

 

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

饥渴慕义的人是有福的，因为他们要得饱饫。怜悯人的人是有福的，因为他们要受怜悯。

 

Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

心里洁净的人是有福的，因为他们要看见天主。缔造和平的人是有福的，因为他们要称为天主的子女。

 

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.

为义而受迫害的人是有福的，因为天国是他们的。

 

Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me.

几时人为了我而辱骂迫害你们，捏造一切坏话毁谤你们，你们是有福的。

 

Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven."

你们欢喜踊跃吧！因为你们在天上的赏报是丰厚的。”
