First Reading:  HEB 4:1-5, 11

读经一（我们要努力进入那安息。）

恭读致希伯来人书 4:1-5,11

 

Let us be on our guard while the promise of entering into his rest remains, that none of you seem to have failed.

几时进入天主安息的恩许仍然存在，我们就应存戒心，免得你们中有人得不到安息，

 

For in fact we have received the Good News just as our ancestors did.

因为我们也蒙受了喜讯，有如我们的祖先一样；

 

But the word that they heard did not profit them, for they were not united in faith with those who listened.

可是他们所听到的话为他们毫无益处，因为他们听的时候没有怀着信德。

 

For we who believed enter into that rest, just as he has said: As I swore in my wrath, "They shall not enter into my rest," and yet his works were accomplished at the foundation of the world.

所以我们这些信了的人，必得进入安息，就如经上说的：“我在怒中起誓说：他们决不得进入我的安息。”其实天主的化工从创世时已经完成了，

 

For he has spoken somewhere about the seventh day in this manner, And God rested on the seventh day from all his works; and again, in the previously mentioned place, They shall not enter into my rest.

因为圣经某处论及第七日说：“天主在第七天停止了自己的一切工作，开始安息。”但这里又说：“他们决不得进入我的安息。”

 

Therefore, let us strive to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall after the same example of disobedience.

所以我们要努力进入那安息，免得有人照样因背信而跌倒。

R. Do not forget the works of the Lord!

【答】：你们不要忘记上主的工行。

 

What we have heard and know, and what our fathers have declared to us, we will declare to the generation to come the glorious deeds of the LORD and his strength.

领：凡我们所听见所知道的，我们祖先传报给我们的，我们不愿隐瞒他们的子孙；要将上主的光荣和威能，他所施展的奇迹和异行，都要传报给后代的众生。

 

R. Do not forget the works of the Lord!

【答】：你们不要忘记上主的工行。

 

That they too may rise and declare to their sons that they should put their hope in God, And not forget the deeds of God but keep his commands.

领：他们生长后，也要告知后裔，叫他们仰望天主，不忘记他的工行，反而常要遵守天主的诫命。

 

R. Do not forget the works of the Lord!

【答】：你们不要忘记上主的工行。

 

And not be like their fathers, a generation wayward and rebellious, A generation that kept not its heart steadfast nor its spirit faithful toward God.

领：免得他们像他们的祖先，成为顽固背命的世代，成为意志薄弱不坚，而心神不忠于天主的世代。

【答】：你们不要忘记上主的工行。

 

Gospel  MK 2:1-12

福音（人子在地上有赦罪的权柄。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 2:1-12

 

When Jesus returned to Capernaum after some days, it became known that he was at home. Many gathered together so that there was no longer room for them, not even around the door, and he preached the word to them.

过了一些日子，耶稣又进了葛法翁。人听说他在家里，就聚来了许多人，以致连门前也不能再容纳，他就对他们讲道。

 

They came bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. Unable to get near Jesus because of the crowd, they opened up the roof above him.

那时，有人带着一个瘫子到他这里来，由四个人抬着；但因为人众多，不能送到他面前，就在耶稣所在之处，拆开了房顶；

 

After they had broken through, they let down the mat on which the paralytic was lying. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to him, "Child, your sins are forgiven."

拆穿之后，把床缒下去，瘫子在上面躺着。耶稣一见他们的信心，就对瘫子说：“孩子！你的罪赦了。”

 

Now some of the scribes were sitting there asking themselves, "Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming. Who but God alone can forgive sins?"

那时，有几个经师坐在那里，心里忖度说，“怎么这人这样说话呢？他说了亵渎的话；除了天主一个外，谁能赦罪呢？”

 

Jesus immediately knew in his mind what they were thinking to themselves, so he said, "Why are you thinking such things in your hearts?

耶稣凭自己的神力，即刻认透了他们私自这样忖度，遂向他们说：“你们心中为什么这样忖度呢？

 

Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise, pick up your mat and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority to forgive sins on earth"

什么比较容易呢？是对瘫子说：你的罪赦了；还是说：起来，拿你的床走？但为叫你们知道：人子在地上有赦罪的权柄

 

-he said to the paralytic, "I say to you, rise, pick up your mat, and go home." He rose, picked up his mat at once, and went away in the sight of everyone.

——遂对瘫子说：我给你说：起来，拿你的床，回家去吧！”那人遂起来，立刻拿起床，当着众人的面走出去了，

 

They were all astounded and glorified God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this."

以致众人大为惊愕，遂光荣天主说：“我们从未见过这样的事！”
