The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common.

众信徒都是一心一意，凡各人所有的，没有人说是自己的，都归公用。

 

With great power the Apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great favor was accorded them all.

宗徒们以大德能，作证主耶稣的复活，在众人前大受爱戴。

 

There was no needy person among them, for those who owned property or houses would sell them, bring the proceeds of the sale, and put them at the feet of the Apostles, and they were distributed to each according to need.

在他们中，没有一个贫乏的人，因为凡有田地和房屋的，卖了以后，都把卖得的价钱带来，放在宗徒们脚前，照每人所需要的分配。

 

Thus Joseph, also named by the Apostles Barnabas (which is translated Ason of encouragement"), a Levite, a Cypriot by birth, sold a piece of property that he owned, then brought the money and put it at the feet of the Apostles.

有位若瑟，宗徒称之为巴尔纳伯，解说“安慰之子”，是肋未人，生于塞浦路斯岛，他有田地，卖了以后，也把银钱带来，放在宗徒脚前。

Your decrees are worthy of trust indeed: holiness befits your house, O LORD, for length of days.

Jesus said to Nicodemus: "'You must be born from above.' The wind blows where it wills, and you can hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."

那时候，耶稣对尼苛德摩说：“你不要惊奇，因我给你说了，你们应该由上而生。风随意向那里吹，你听到风的响声，却不知道风从那里来，往那里去：凡由圣神而生的就是这样。”

 

Nicodemus answered and said to him, 'How can this happen?" Jesus answered and said to him, "You are the teacher of Israel and you do not understand this?

尼苛德摩问说：“这事怎样能成就呢？”耶稣回答说：“你是以色列的师傅，连这事你都不知道吗？

 

Amen, amen, I say to you, we speak of what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony.

我实实在在告诉你：我们知道的，我们才讲论；我们见过的，我们才作证；而你们却不接受我们的见证。

 

If I tell you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? No one has gone up to heaven except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man.

若我给你们说地上的事，你们尚且不信；若我给你们说天上的事，你们怎么会信呢？没有人上过天，除了那自天降下而仍在天上的人子。

 

And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life."

正如梅瑟曾在旷野里高举了蛇，人子也应照样被举起来。使凡信的人，在他内得永生。”
