First Reading: ACTS 9:1-20

Saul, still breathing murderous threats against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus,

那时，扫禄还是向主的门徒口吐恐吓和凶杀之气，遂去见大司祭，求他发文书给大马士革各会堂，

 

that, if he should find any men or women who belonged to the Way, he might bring them back to Jerusalem in chains.

凡他搜查出信这道的人，不拘男女，都绑起来，解送到耶路撒冷。

 

On his journey, as he was nearing Damascus, a light from the sky suddenly flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?"

当他前行，快要临近大马士革的时候，忽然从天上有一道光，环射到他身上。他便跌倒在地，听见有声音向他说：“扫禄，扫禄，你为什么迫害我？”

 

He said, "Who are you, sir?"  The reply came, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Now get up and go into the city and you will be told what you must do."

他答说：“主！你是谁？”主说：“我就是你所迫害的耶稣。但是，你起来进城去，必有人告诉你当作什么。”

 

The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, for they heard the voice but could see no one. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing;

陪他同行的人站在那里，说不出话来；只听见声音，却看不见什么人。扫禄从地上起来，睁开他的眼，什么也看不见了。

 

so they led him by the hand and brought him to Damascus. For three days he was unable to see, and he neither ate nor drank.

人们牵着他的手，领他进了大马士革。三天看不见，也不吃，也不喝。

 

There was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias, and the Lord said to him in a vision, "Ananias." He answered, "Here I am, Lord."

在大马士革有个门徒，名叫阿纳尼雅，主在异象中向他说：“阿纳尼雅！”他答说：“主，我在这里。”

 

The Lord said to him, "Get up and go to the street called Straight and ask at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul.

主向他说：“起来，往那条名叫“直街”的地方去，要在犹大家里找一个名叫扫禄的塔尔索人；

 

He is there praying, and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him, that he may regain his sight."

看，他正在祈祷。” ── 扫禄此时在异象中看见一个名叫阿纳尼雅的人进来给自己覆手，使他复明 ──

 

But Ananias replied, "Lord, I have heard from many sources about this man, what evil things he has done to your holy ones in Jerusalem.

阿纳尼雅却答说：“关于这个人，我听许多人说：他在耶路撒冷对你的圣徒作了许多坏事！

 

And here he has authority from the chief priests to imprison all who call upon your name."

他在这里也有从大司祭取得的权柄，要捆绑一切呼号你名字的人。”

 

But the Lord said to him, "Go, for this man is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before Gentiles, kings, and children of Israel, and I will show him what he will have to suffer for my name."

主却向他说：“你去吧！因为这人是我所拣选的器皿，为把我的名字带到外邦人、国王和以色列子民前，我要指示他，为我的名字该受多么大的苦。”

 

So Ananias went and entered the house; laying his hands on him, he said, "Saul, my brother, the Lord has sent me, Jesus who appeared to you on the way by which you came, that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit."

阿纳尼雅就去了，进了那一家给他覆手说：“扫禄兄弟！在你来的路上，发显给你的主耶稣打发我来，叫你看见，叫你充满圣神。”

 

Immediately things like scales fell from his eyes and he regained his sight.

立刻有像鳞甲一样的东西，从他的眼中掉了下来，他便看见了，

 

He got up and was baptized, and when he had eaten, he recovered his strength. He stayed some days with the disciples in Damascus, and he began at once to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

遂起来领了洗。进食以后，就有了力量。他同大马土革的门徒住了几天之后，即刻在各会堂中宣讲耶稣，说他是天主子。

Gospel JN 6:52-59

福音（我的肉是真的食物，我的血是真的饮料。）

恭读圣若望福音 6:52-59

 

The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his Flesh to eat?”

那时，犹太人彼此争论说：“这人怎么能把他的肉，赐给我们吃呢？”

 

Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink his Blood, you do not have life within you.

耶稣向他们说：“我实实在在告诉你们：你们若不吃人子的肉，不喝他的血，在你们内，便没有生命。

 

Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my Flesh is true food, and my Blood is true drink.

谁吃我的肉，并喝我的血，必得永生，在末日，我且要叫他复活，因为我的肉，是真实的食品；我的血，是真实的饮料。

 

Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood remains in me and I in him.

谁吃我的肉，并喝我的血，便住在我内，我也住在他内。

 

Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.

就如那生活的父派遣了我，我因父而生活；照样，那吃我的人，也要因我而生活。

 

This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.” These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

这是从天上降下来的食粮，不像祖先吃了‘玛纳’仍然死了；谁吃这食粮，必要生活直到永远。”这些话是耶稣在葛法翁会堂教训人时说的。
