First Reading: ACTS 11:19-26

读经一（他们向希腊人讲道，宣讲主耶稣的福音。）

恭读宗徒大事录 11:19-26

 

Those who had been scattered by the persecution that arose because of Stephen went as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to no one but Jews.

在斯德望受害时，那些由于迫害而四散的人，经过各地，来到了腓尼基、塞浦路斯和安提约基雅，他们只向犹太人讲道。

 

There were some Cypriots and Cyrenians among them, however, who came to Antioch and began to speak to the Greeks as well, proclaiming the Lord Jesus.

但其中有些塞浦路斯和基勒乃人到了安提约基雅，也向希腊人讲道，宣传主耶稣的福音。

 

The hand of the Lord was with them and a great number who believed turned to the Lord. The news about them reached the ears of the Church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to go to Antioch.

主的手同他们在一起，信而归主的人，数目很多。这事传到了耶路撒冷教会，就打发巴尔纳伯到安提约基雅去。

 

When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to remain faithful to the Lord in firmness of heart, for he was a good man, filled with the Holy Spirit and faith. And a large number of people was added to the Lord.

他一来到，看见天主所赐的恩惠就很喜欢，并劝勉众人要决心坚定于主。因为他是好人，充满圣神和信德，如此有许多人归附了主。

 

Then he went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he had found him he brought him to Antioch.

以后，他往塔尔索去找扫禄；找着以后，便领他回到安提约基雅。

 

For a whole year they met with the Church and taught a large number of people, and it was in Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians.

他们一整年在那教会中共同工作，教导了许多人；在安提约基雅最先称门徒为“基督徒”。

领：上主喜爱自己的宫殿，它建筑在一切圣山上。他喜爱熙雍所有的城门，胜过雅各伯所有的帐棚。天主的圣城！人们论到你，曾经说了许多光荣的事。

 

R.  All you nations, praise the Lord.

【答】：列国万民，请赞美上主。

 

I tell of Egypt and Babylon among those who know the LORD; Of Philistia, Tyre, Ethiopia: "This man was born there.” And of Zion they shall say: “One and all were born in her; And he who has established her is the Most High LORD.”

领：我要将辣哈布和巴比伦，列于认识我者的人群中：连培肋舍特、提洛和雇士民，这些人都是在你那里出生。论到熙雍，人要称她为母亲，人人都是在她那里出生；至高者要亲自使她坚定。

【答】：列国万民，请赞美上主。

 

They shall note, when the peoples are enrolled: "This man was born there.”And all shall sing, in their festive dance: "My home is within you.”

领：上主要在万民户籍上留名：这些人也都是在那里出生。人们要在舞蹈时歌唱说：“我的一切泉源都在你内。”

Gospel JN 10:22-30

The feast of the Dedication was taking place in Jerusalem. It was winter. And Jesus walked about in the temple area on the Portico of Solomon.

那时，在耶路撒冷举行重建节，正是冬天。耶稣徘徊于圣殿内撒罗满游廊下。

 

So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, "How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly."

犹太人围起他来，向他说：“你使我们的心神悬疑不定，要到几时呢？你如果是默西亚，就坦白告诉我们吧！”

 

Jesus answered them, " I told you and you do not believe. The works I do in my Father's name testify to me. But you do not believe, because you are not among my sheep.

耶稣答覆说：“我已告诉了你们，你们却不相信；我以我父的名所作的工作，为我作证，但你们还是不信，因为你们不是属于我的羊。

 

My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand.

我的羊听我的声音，我也认识他们，他们也跟随我；我赐予他们永生，他们永远不会丧亡；谁也不能从我手中把他们夺去。

 

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can take them out of the Father's hand. The Father and I are one.”

我那赐给我羊群的父，超越一切，为此，谁也不能从我父手里将他们夺去。我与父原是一体。”
