First Reading: ACTS 16:1-10

Paul reached also Derbe and Lystra where there was a disciple named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek.

那时，保禄来到了德尔贝和吕斯特辣。在那里有个门徒，名叫弟茂德，是一个信主的犹太妇人的儿子，父亲却是希腊人，

 

The brothers in Lystra and Iconium spoke highly of him, and Paul wanted him to come along with him.

在吕斯特辣及依科尼雍的弟兄们都称扬他。保禄愿意他随自己同去，

 

On account of the Jews of that region, Paul had him circumcised, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

为了那些地方的犹太人的缘故，带他去行了割损礼，因为众人都知道他的父亲是希腊人。

 

As they traveled from city to city, they handed on to the people for observance the decisions reached by the Apostles and presbyters in Jerusalem. Day after day the churches grew stronger in faith and increased in number.

当他们经过各城时，就将宗徒和长老在耶路撒冷所议定的规条，交给他们遵守；于是各处教会信德稳固，信徒数目天天增加。

 

They traveled through the Phrygian and Galatian territory because they had been prevented by the Holy Spirit from preaching the message in the province of Asia.

圣神既阻止他们在亚细亚讲道，他们就经过夫黎基雅和迦拉达地区，

 

When they came to Mysia, they tried to go on into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them, so they crossed through Mysia and came down to Troas.

到了米息雅附近，想往彼提尼雅去；可是耶稣的神不许他们去，他们遂绕过米息雅，下到了特洛阿。

 

During the night Paul had a vision. A Macedonian stood before him and implored him with these words, "Come over to Macedonia and help us."

夜间，保禄见了一个异象，有个马其顿人站着，请求他说：“请往马其顿去，援助我们吧！”

 

When he had seen the vision, we sought passage to Macedonia at once,  concluding that God had called us to proclaim the Good News to them.

保禄既见了这异象，我们便推知是天主召叫我们给他们宣传福音，便立即设法往马其顿去。

【答】：普世大地，请向上主欢呼。

领：普世大地，请向上主欢呼，要兴高釆烈地事奉上主；走到上主面前，应该欢呼！

【答】：普世大地，请向上主欢呼。

 

Know that the LORD is God; he made us, his we are; his people, the flock he tends.

领：你们应该明认雅威就是天主，他造成了我们，我们非他莫属，是他的人民，是他牧场的羊队。

【答】：普世大地，请向上主欢呼。

 

The LORD is good: his kindness endures forever, and his faithfulness, to all generations.

领：因为上主良善宽仁，他的慈爱直到永恒，他的忠信世世常存。

Gospel JN 15:18-21

福音（你们不属于世界，因我从世界中拣选了你们。）

恭读圣若望福音 15:18-21

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own;

那时，耶稣对门徒说：“世界若恨你们，你们该知道：在你们以前，它已恨了我。若是你们属于世界，世界必喜爱你们，有如属于自己的人；

 

but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you.

但因你们不属于世界，而是我从世界上拣选了你们，为此，世界才恨你们。

 

Remember the word I spoke to you, 'No slave is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.

你们要记得我对你们所说过的话：没有仆人大过主人的；如果人们迫害了我，也要迫害你们；如果他们遵守了我的话，也要遵守你们的。

 

And they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they do not know the one who sent me."

但是，他们为了我名字的缘故，要向你们作这一切，因为他们不认识那派遣我来的。”
