We set sail from Troas, making a straight run for Samothrace, and on the next day to Neapolis, and from there to Philippi, a leading city in that district of Macedonia and a Roman colony.

我们从特洛阿开船，一直航到撒摩辣刻，第二天到了乃阿颇里，从那里到了斐理伯，这是马其顿一区的首城，罗马的殖民地。

 

We spent some time in that city. On the sabbath we went outside the city gate along the river where we thought there would be a place of prayer.

我们就在这城里住了几天。安息日，我们出了城门，到了河边，我们知道那里有个祈祷所。

 

We sat and spoke with the women who had gathered there. One of them, a woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth, from the city of Thyatira, a worshiper of God, listened, and the Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what Paul was saying.

我们遂坐下向聚集的妇女讲话。有个敬畏天主的女人，名叫里狄雅，是提雅提辣城卖紫红布的，她一直在听；主开明了她的心，使她接受保禄所讲的话。

 

After she and her household had been baptized, she offered us an invitation, "If you consider me a believer in the Lord, come and stay at my home," and she prevailed on us.

她同她一家领了洗，便请求说：“你们若认为我是忠于主的人，就请到我家去住。”遂强邀我们去了。

Sing to the LORD a new song of praise in the assembly of the faithful. Let Israel be glad in their maker, let the children of Zion rejoice in their king.

领：请你们向上主讴唱新歌，在圣者集会中向他祝贺！愿以色列因自己的创造者而踊跃，愿熙雍子民因自己的君王而欢乐！

 

R. The Lord takes delight in his people.

【答】：上主喜爱自己的百姓。

 

Let them praise his name in the festive dance, let them sing praise to him with timbrel and harp. For the LORD loves his people, and he adorns the lowly with victory.

领：愿他们以舞蹈赞美上主的名，愿他们敲鼓弹琴向上主歌咏！因为上主喜爱自己的百姓，赏赐谦虚的人凯旋而得胜。

 

R. The Lord takes delight in his people.

【答】：上主喜爱自己的百姓。

 

Let the faithful exult in glory; let them sing for joy upon their couches. Let the high praises of God be in their throats. This is the glory of all his faithful. Alleluia.

领：愿圣徒因所受的光荣而喜庆，在自己的床榻上欢呼而歌颂。愿赞美天主的歌词在他们的口中，这也就是一切圣徒的光荣。

Gospel JN 15:26—16:4A

恭读圣若望福音 15:26-16:4

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "When the Advocate comes whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, he will testify to me.

那时候，耶稣对门徒说：“当护慰者，就是我从父那里要给你们派遣的，那发于父的真理之神来到时，他必要为我作证；

 

And you also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

并且你们也要作证，因为你们从开始就和我在一起。

 

I have told you this so that you may not fall away.

我给你们讲论了这些事，免得你们的信仰受动摇。

 

They will expel you from the synagogues; in fact, the hour is coming when everyone who kills you will think he is offering worship to God.

人要把你们逐出会堂；并且时候必到，凡杀害你们的，还以为是尽恭敬天主的义务。

 

They will do this because they have not known either the Father or me.

他们这样作，是因为没有认识父，也没有认识我。

 

I have told you this so that when their hour comes you may remember that I told you."

我给你们讲论了这一切，是为叫你们在这一切发生时，想起我早告诉了你们这一切。”
