First Reading: ACTS 25:13B-21

读经一（关于一个已死的耶稣，保禄却说他还活着。）

King Agrippa and Bernice arrived in Caesarea on a visit to Festus. Since they spent several days there, Festus referred Paul's case to the king, saying, "There is a man here left in custody by Felix.

阿格黎帕王同贝勒尼切到了凯撒勒雅，向斐斯托致候。他们在那里住了多日，斐斯托就将保禄的事件，陈述给王说：“这里有一个人，是斐理斯留在狱中的囚犯。

 

When I was in Jerusalem the chief priests and the elders of the Jews brought charges against him and demanded his condemnation.

我在耶路撒冷的时候，司祭长和犹太人的长老告发他，要求定他的罪。

 

I answered them that it was not Roman practice to hand over an accused person before he has faced his accusers and had the opportunity to defend himself against their charge.

我回答他们说：当被告还没有与原告当面对质，还没有机会辩护控告他的事以前，就将那人交出，不合罗马人的规例。

 

So when they came together here, I made no delay; the next day I took my seat on the tribunal and ordered the man to be brought in.

及至他们来到这里，我一点也没有迟延，次日便坐堂，下令把那人带来。

 

His accusers stood around him, but did not charge him with any of the crimes I suspected.

原告站起来，对他没有提出一件罪案，是我所逆料的恶事；

 

Instead they had some issues with him about their own religion and about a certain Jesus who had died but who Paul claimed was alive.

他们的争辩，仅是关于他们的宗教及关于一个已死的耶稣，保禄却说他还活着。

 

Since I was at a loss how to investigate this controversy, I asked if he were willing to go to Jerusalem and there stand trial on these charges.

我对这争执不知如何处理，就问他是否愿意去耶路撒冷，在那里受审。

 

And when Paul appealed that he be held in custody for the Emperor's decision, I ordered him held until I could send him to Caesar."

可是，保禄却要求上诉，将他留给皇帝审断，我便下令留下他，等我解他到凯撒那里。”

【答】：上主在天上立定了自己的宝位。

 

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so surpassing is his kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he put our transgressions from us.

领：就如上天距离下地有多么高，他待敬畏他者的慈爱也多高；就如东方距离西方有多么远，他使我们的罪离我们也多远。

 

R. The Lord has established his throne in heaven.

【答】：上主在天上立定了自己的宝位。

 

The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all. Bless the LORD, all you his angels, you mighty in strength, who do his bidding.

领：上主在天上立定了自己的宝位，天下的万物都属他的王权统治。上主的众天使，请你们赞美上主，你们是执行他命令的大能臣仆。

Gospel JN 21:15-19

福音（你喂养我的羔羊；你喂养我的羊群。）

恭读圣若望福音 21:15-19

 

After Jesus had revealed himself to his disciples and eaten breakfast with them, he said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?"

耶稣显现给门徒，同他们吃完了早饭，就对西满伯多禄说：“若望的儿子西满，你比他们更爱我吗？”

 

Simon Peter answered him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my lambs."

伯多禄回答说：“主，是的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣就对他说：“你喂养我的羔羊。”

 

He then said to Simon Peter a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?"

耶稣第二次又问他说：“若望的儿子西满，你爱我吗？”

 

Simon Peter answered him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep."

伯多禄回答说：“主，是的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣就对他说：“你牧放我的羊群。”

 

He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?"

耶稣第三次问他说：“若望的儿子西满，你爱我吗？”

 

Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep.

伯多禄因耶稣第三次问他说：“你爱我吗？”便忧愁起来，遂向他说：“主啊！一切你都知道，你晓得我爱你。”耶稣对他说：“你喂养我的羊群。”

 

Amen, amen, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to dress yourself and go where you wanted;

耶稣又说：“我实实在在告诉你：你年少时，自己束上腰，任意往来；

 

but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go."

但到了老年，你要伸出手来，别人要给你束上腰，带你往你不愿意去的地方。”

 

He said this signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when he had said this, he said to him, "Follow me."

耶稣说这话，是指他将以怎样的死去光荣天主。说完这话，又对他说：“跟随我吧！”
