Pentecost Sunday

圣神降临节

 

 

First Reading: ACTS 2:1-11

读经一（众人都充满了圣神，说起外方话来。）

恭读宗徒大事录 2:1-11

 

When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were.

五旬节一到，众人都聚集一处。忽然，从天上来了一阵响声，好像暴风刮来，充满了他们所在的全座房屋。

 

Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.

有些散开好像火的舌头，停留在他们每人头上，众人都充满了圣神，照圣神赐给他们的话，说起外方话来。

 

Now there were devout Jews from every nation under heaven staying in Jerusalem. At this sound, they gathered in a large crowd, but they were confused because each one heard them speaking in his own language.

那时，居住在耶路撒冷的，有从天下各国来的虔诚犹太人。这声音一响，就聚集了许多人，都仓皇失措，因为人人都听见门徒说各人的方言。

 

They were astounded, and in amazement they asked, "Are not all these people who are speaking Galileans? Then how does each of us hear them in his native language?

他们惊讶奇怪地说：“看，这些说话的，不都是加里肋亚人吗？怎么我们每人听见他们说我们出生地的方言呢？

 

We are Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the districts of Libya near Cyrene,

我们中有帕提雅人、玛待人、厄蓝人和居住在美索不达米亚、犹太及卡帕多细雅、本都并亚细亚、夫黎基雅和旁非里雅、埃及，并靠近基勒乃的利比亚一带的人，

 

as well as travelers from Rome, both Jews and converts to Judaism, Cretans and Arabs, yet we hear them speaking in our own tongues of the mighty acts of God."

以及侨居的罗马人、犹太人和归依犹太教的人、克里特人和阿剌伯人。怎么我们都听见他们用我们的话，讲论天主的奇事呢？”

Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD, my God, you are great indeed! How manifold are your works, O LORD!  the earth is full of your creatures;

领：我的灵魂，请颂赞上主！上主、我的天主，祢伟大无比。上主，祢的化工，何其繁浩，祢创造的万物，充满大地。

 

R. Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.

【答】：上主，请祢嘘气，使大地更新。

 

May the glory of the LORD endure forever; may the LORD be glad in his works! Pleasing to him be my theme; I will be glad in the LORD.

领：祢若停止牠们的呼吸，牠们就要死去，归于原来的灰土。祢一嘘气，万物化生；祢使大地，更新复兴。

 

R. Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.

【答】：上主，请祢嘘气，使大地更新。

 

If you take away their breath, they perish and return to their dust. When you send forth your spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the earth.

领：愿上主的光荣，永世无穷；愿上主喜爱自己的化工！愿我的祈祷蒙上主喜悦；我将常在上主内欢乐。

 

R. Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.

【答】：上主，请祢嘘气，使大地更新。

 

Second Reading : 1 Cor 12:3B-7, 12-13

读经二（我们都因一个圣神受了洗，成为一个身体。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致格林多人前书 12:3-7,12-13

 

Brothers and sisters: No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord;

弟兄姊妹们：除非受圣神感动，没有一个人能说：“耶稣是主”。神恩虽有区别，却是同一圣神所赐；

 

there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. To each individual, the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit.

职分虽有区别，却是同一的主所赐；功效虽有区别，却是同一的天主，在一切人身上，行一切事。圣神显示在每人身上虽有不同，但全是为人的好处。

 

As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ.

就如身体只是一个，却有许多肢体；身体所有的肢体虽多，仍是一个身体；基督也是这样。

 

For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.

因为我们众人，不论是犹太人，或是希腊人，或是为奴的，或是自主的，都因一个圣神受了洗，成为一个身体，又都为一个圣神所滋润。

Gospel  JN 20:19-23

福音（就如父派遣了我，我也同样派遣你们，你们领受圣神罢！）

恭读圣若望福音 20:19-23

 

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the doors were locked, where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

一周的第一天晚上，门徒所在的地方，因为怕犹太人，门户都关着，耶稣来了，站在中间，对他们说：“愿你们平安！”

 

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

说了这话，便把手和肋膀指给他们看。门徒见了主，便喜欢起来。

 

Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”

耶稣又对他们说：“愿你们平安！就如父派遣了我，我也同样派遣你们。”

 

And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”

说了这话，就向他们嘘了一口气，说：“你们领受圣神罢！你们赦免谁的罪，谁的罪就得赦免；你们保留谁的罪，谁的罪就被保留。”
