First Reading: 2 COR 5:14-21

读经一（天主曾使那不认识罪的，替我们成了罪。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致格林多人后书 5:14-21

 

Brothers and sisters: The love of Christ impels us, once we have come to the conviction that one died for all; therefore, all have died.

弟兄们：基督的爱催迫着我们，因我们曾如此断定：既然一个人替众人死了，那么众人就都死了；

 

He indeed died for all, so that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.

他替众人死，是为使活着的人不再为自己生活，而是为替他们死而复活了的那位生活。

 

Consequently, from now on we regard no one according to the flesh; even if we once knew Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him so no longer.

所以我们从今以后，不再按人的看法认识谁了；纵使我们曾按人的看法认识过基督，但如今不再这样认识他了。

 

So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.

所以谁若在基督内，他就是一个新受造物，旧的已成过去，看，都成了新的。

 

And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and given us the ministry of reconciliation,

这一切都是出于天主，他曾藉基督使我们与他自己和好，并将这和好的职务赐给了我们，

 

namely, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting their trespasses against them and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

这就是说：天主在基督内使世界与自己和好，不再追究他们的过犯，且将和好的话放在我们的口中。

 

So we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

所以我们是代基督作大使了，好像是天主藉着我们来劝勉世人。我们如今代基督请求你们：与天主和好！

 

For our sake he made him to be sin who did not know sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

因为他会使那不认识罪的，替我们成了罪，好叫我们在他内成为天主的正义。

【答】：上主富于仁爱宽恕。

 

Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all my being, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

领：我的灵魂，请向上主赞颂；我的五内，请向主名赞颂。我的灵魂，请向上主赞颂，请你不要忘记他的恩宠。

 

R. The Lord is kind and merciful.

【答】：上主富于仁爱宽恕。

 

He pardons all your iniquities, he heals all your ills. He redeems your life from destruction, he crowns you with kindness and compassion.

领：是他赦免了你的各种愆尤，是他治愈了你的一切病苦，是他叫你的性命在死亡中得到保全，是他用仁慈以及爱情给你作了冠冕。

 

R. The Lord is kind and merciful.

【答】：上主富于仁爱宽恕。

 

He will not always chide, nor does he keep his wrath forever. Not according to our sins does he deal with us, nor does he requite us according to our crimes.

领：上主富于仁爱宽恕﹐极其慈悲﹐迟于发怒。他决不会常常责问﹐也决不会世世愤恨。

 

R. The Lord is kind and merciful.

【答】：上主富于仁爱宽恕。

 

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so surpassing is his kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he put our transgressions from us.

领：就如上天距离下地有多么高﹐他待敬畏他者的慈爱也多高﹔就如东方距离西方有多么远﹐他使我们的罪离我们也多远。

 

R. The Lord is kind and merciful.

【答】：上主富于仁爱宽恕。

 

Gospel MT 5:33-37

福音（我对你们说：你们总不可发誓。）

恭读圣玛窦福音 5:33-37

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "You have heard that it was said to your ancestors, Do not take a false oath, but make good to the Lord all that you vow.

那时候，耶稣向他的门徒说：“你们一向听过对古人说：‘不可发虚誓！要向上主偿还你的誓愿！’

 

But I say to you, do not swear at all; not by heaven, for it is God's throne; nor by the earth, for it is his footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.

我却对你们说：你们总不可发誓：不可指天，因为天是天主的宝座；不可指地，因为地是他的脚凳；不可指耶路撒冷，因为她是大王的城市；

 

Do not swear by your head, for you cannot make a single hair white or black.

也不可指你的头发誓，因为你不能使一根头发变白或变黑。

 

Let your 'Yes' mean 'Yes,' and your 'No' mean 'No.' Anything more is from the Evil One."

你们的话该当是：是就说是，非就说非；其他多余的，便是出于邪恶。”
