First Reading: 2 COR 9:6-11

读经一（天主爱乐捐的人。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致格林多人后书 9:6-11

 

Brothers and sisters, consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

弟兄们：小量播种的，也要小量收获；大量播种的，也要大量收获。

 

Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

每人照心中所酌量的捐助，不要心痛，也不要勉强，因为“天主爱乐捐的人”。

 

Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may have an abundance for every good work.

天主能丰厚地赐与你们各种恩惠，使你们在一切事上常十分充足，能多行各种善事，

 

As it is written: He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.

正如经上记载说：“他博施济贫，他的仁义永世常存。”

 

The one who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

那供给播种者种子，而又赐食粮给人养生的，必要供给和增多你们的种子，且使你们仁义的出产增加，

 

You are being enriched in every way for all generosity, which through us produces thanksgiving to God.

叫你们事事富足，以致十分慷慨，致使人因此藉着我们而产生感谢天主的心。

R. Blessed the man who fears the Lord.

【答】：凡敬畏上主的人，真是有福！

 

Blessed the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commands. His posterity shall be mighty upon the earth; the upright generation shall be blessed.

领：凡敬畏上主的人，真是有福！喜欢他诫命的人，真是有福！他的子孙在世上必要强盛，义人的后代必要受到赞颂。

 

R. Blessed the man who fears the Lord.

【答】：凡敬畏上主的人，真是有福！

 

Wealth and riches shall be in his house; his generosity shall endure forever. Light shines through the darkness for the upright; he is gracious and merciful and just.

领：他家中必有权势财产，他的仁义必永远存留。他富有仁爱，慈悲而又公道，像光明在暗处向义人照耀。

 

R. Blessed the man who fears the Lord.

【答】：凡敬畏上主的人，真是有福！

 

Lavishly he gives to the poor; his generosity shall endure forever; his horn shall be exalted in glory.

领：他散财而周济贫苦的人。他的仁义必会万世留存，他将出人头地，必受光荣。

【答】：凡敬畏上主的人，真是有福！

 

Gospel MT 6:1-6, 16-18

福音（你的父在暗中看见，必要报答你。）

恭读圣玛窦福音 6:1-6,16-18

 

Jesus said to his disciples: "Take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may see them; otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father.

那时候，耶稣对他的门徒说：“你们应当心，不要在人前行你们的仁义，为叫他们看见；若是这样，你们在天父之前，就没有赏报了。

 

When you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets to win the praise of others.

所以，当你施舍时，不可在你前面吹号，如同假善人在会堂及街市上所行的一样，为受人们的称赞；

 

Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.

我实在告诉你们，他们已获得了他们的赏报。

 

But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, so that your almsgiving may be secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

当你施舍时，不要叫你左手知道你右手所行的，好使你的施舍隐而不露，你父在暗中看见，必要报答你。

 

When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them.

当你祈祷时，不要如同假善人一样，爱在会堂及十字街头立着祈祷，为显示给人；

 

Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.

我实在告诉你们，他们已获得了他们的赏报。

 

But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

至于你，当你祈祷时，要进入你的内室，关上门，向你在暗中之父祈祷；你的父在暗中看见，必要报答你。

 

When you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites. They neglect their appearance, so that they may appear to others to be fasting.

几时你们禁食，不要如同假善人一样，面带愁容；因为他们苦丧着脸，是为叫人看出他们禁食来。

 

Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.

我实在告诉你们，他们已获得了他们的赏报。

 

But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you may not appear to others to be fasting, except to your Father who is hidden.

至于你，当你禁食时，要用油抹你的头，洗你的脸，不要叫人看出你禁食来，但叫你那在暗中之父看见；

 

And your Father who sees what is hidden will repay you."

你的父在暗中看见，必将报答你。”
