First Reading: EX 12:37-42

读经一（这是上主引领以色列子民离开埃及的那一夜。）

恭读出谷纪 12: 37-42

 

The children of Israel set out from Rameses for Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, not counting the little ones.

那时，以色列子民从辣默色斯起程向稣苛特进发。步行的男子约六十万，家属不算在内。

 

A crowd of mixed ancestry also went up with them, besides their livestock, very numerous flocks and herds.

同他们一起走的，还有很多外族人，也带着自己的羊群、牛群和大批的牲畜；

 

Since the dough they had brought out of Egypt was not leavened, they baked it into unleavened loaves.

他们把从埃及带出来的未发酵的面团烤成无酵饼，

 

They had rushed out of Egypt and had no opportunity even to prepare food for the journey.

因为他们急迫离开埃及，不能耽搁，来不及准备行粮。

 

The time the children of Israel had stayed in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. At the end of four hundred and thirty years, all the hosts of the LORD left the land of Egypt on this very date.

以色列子民居留埃及共有四百三十年。四百三十年届满的那一天，上主的军旅离开了埃及。

 

This was a night of vigil for the LORD, as he led them out of the land of Egypt; so on this same night all the children of Israel must keep a vigil for the LORD throughout their generations.

这一夜是上主领他们出离埃及所守的一夜，这一夜也是以色列子民世世代代向上主当守的一夜。

【答】：上主的仁慈永远常存。

 

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his mercy endures forever; Who remembered us in our abjection, for his mercy endures forever; And freed us from our foes, for his mercy endures forever.

领：请众感谢上主，因他宽仁，因为他的仁慈永远常存。他怀念了我们遭难的人，因为他的仁慈永远常存。他救拔我们脱离了仇人，因为他的仁慈永远常存。

 

R.  His mercy endures forever.

【答】：上主的仁慈永远常存。

 

Who smote the Egyptians in their first-born, for his mercy endures forever; And brought out Israel from their midst, for his mercy endures forever; With a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, for his mercy endures forever.

领：他击杀了埃及国的首生，因为他的仁慈永远常存。他领以色列走出埃及境，因为他的仁慈永远常存。他伸出手臂施展了大能，因为他的仁慈永远常存。

【答】：上主的仁慈永远常存。

 

Who split the Red Sea in twain, for his mercy endures forever; And led Israel through its midst, for his mercy endures forever; But swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea, for his mercy endures forever.

领：他把红海的水从中分开，因为他的仁慈永远常存。他领以色列人海中步行，因为他的仁慈永远常存。他淹没法郎军于海中，因为他的仁慈永远常存。

Gospel MT 12:14-21

福音（耶稣警告被治好的人不要将他传扬出去：这是为应验先知所说的话。）

恭读圣玛窦福音 12:14-21

 

The Pharisees went out and took counsel against Jesus to put him to death. When Jesus realized this, he withdrew from that place.

那时候，法利塞人出去，商讨怎样陷害耶稣，怎样除灭他。耶稣知道了，就离开那里；

 

Many people followed him, and he cured them all, but he warned them not to make him known. This was to fulfill what had been spoken through Isaiah the prophet:

有许多人跟随他，他都治好了他们；且警告他们不要将他传扬出去：这是为应验那藉依撒意亚先知所说的话：

 

Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom I delight; I shall place my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.

看，我的仆人，他是我所拣选，我所钟爱的；他是我心灵所喜悦的；我要使我的神住在他身上，他必向外邦人传布真道。

 

He will not contend or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets.

他不争辩，也不喧嚷，在街市上没有人听到他的声音：

 

A bruised reed he will not break, a smoldering wick he will not quench, until he brings justice to victory. And in his name the Gentiles will hope.

已压破的芦苇，他不折断；将熄灭的灯心，他不吹灭，直至他使真道胜利。外邦人将要期待他的名字。
