Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

First Reading: GN 18:1-10A

读经一（主，请你不要由你仆人这里走过。）

恭读创世纪　18:1-10

 

The LORD appeared to Abraham by the terebinth of Mamre, as he sat in the entrance of his tent, while the day was growing hot.

天正热的时候，亚巴郎坐在帐幕门口；上主在玛默勒橡树林那里，给亚巴郎显现出来。

 

Looking up, Abraham saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he ran from the entrance of the tent to greet them; and bowing to the ground,

亚巴郎举目一望，见有三人站在对面，就由帐幕门口，跑去迎接他们，俯伏在地，

 

he said: "Sir, if I may ask you this favor, please do not go on past your servant. Let some water be brought, that you may bathe your feet, and then rest yourselves under the tree.

说：“我主，如果我蒙你垂爱，请你不要由你仆人这里走过；容我叫人拿点水来，洗洗你们的脚；然后，请在树下休息休息。

 

Now that you have come this close to your servant, let me bring you a little food, that you may refresh yourselves; and afterward you may go on your way."

你们既然路过你仆人这里，等我拿点饼来；请吃点点心，然后再走。”

 

The men replied, "Very well, do as you have said." Abraham hastened into the tent and told Sarah, "Quick, three measures of fine flour! Knead it and make rolls."

那三人答说：“就照你所说的，做吧！”亚巴郎赶快进入帐幕，走到撒辣前，说：“你快拿三斗细面，和一和，做些饼。”

 

He ran to the herd, picked out a tender, choice steer, and gave it to a servant, who quickly prepared it.

于是，亚巴郎又跑到牛群中，选了一头又嫩又肥的牛犊，交给仆人，要他赶快煮好。

 

Then Abraham got some curds and milk, as well as the steer that had been prepared, and set these before the three men; and he waited on them under the tree while they ate.

亚巴郎就拿了乳酪和牛奶，及预备好了的牛犊，摆在那三人面前；他们吃的时候，亚巴郎在树下侍候。

 

They asked Abraham, "Where is your wife Sarah?" He replied, "There in the tent."

那三人对亚巴郎说：“你的妻子撒辣在那里？”他答说：“在帐幕里。”

 

One of them said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah will then have a son."

其中一位说：“明年此时，我必回到你这里，那时，你的妻子撒辣，要有一个儿子。”

R. He who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord.

【答】：上主，谁能在你的帐幕里居住？

 

One who walks blamelessly and does justice; who thinks the truth in his heart and slanders not with his tongue.

领：只有那行为正直，做事公平，从自己心里，说诚实话的人；他不信口非议。

 

R. He who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord.

【答】：上主，谁能在你的帐幕里居住？

 

Who harms not his fellow man, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor; by whom the reprobate is despised, while he honors those who fear the LORD.

领：他不危害兄弟，更不会对邻里，恃势欺凌。他睥视作恶犯罪的人，重视敬畏天主的人。

 

R. He who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord.

【答】：上主，谁能在你的帐幕里居住？

 

Who lends not his money at usury and accepts no bribe against the innocent. One who does these things shall never be disturbed.

领：他从不放债，贪取重利；他从不受贿，伤害无罪；这样行事的人，永远坚定不移。

 

R. He who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord.

【答】：上主，谁能在你的帐幕里居住？

 

Second Reading : COL 1:24-28

读经二（这隐藏的道理，现在却显示给他的圣徒。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致哥罗森人书　1:24-28

 

Brothers and sisters: Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ on behalf of his body, which is the church,

弟兄姊妹们：现在，我在为你们受苦，反觉高兴，因为这样，我可在我的肉身上，为基督的身体──教会，补充基督苦难所欠缺的。

 

of which I am a minister in accordance with God's stewardship given to me to bring to completion for you the word of God, the mystery hidden from ages and from generations past.

我依照天主为你们，所授与我的职责，作了这教会的仆役，好把天主的道理，充分地宣扬出去。这道理，就是从世世代代以来，所隐藏，

 

But now it has been manifested to his holy ones, to whom God chose to make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles;

而现在却显示给他圣徒的奥秘。天主愿意他们知道，这奥秘为外邦人，是如何富有丰盛的光荣。

 

it is Christ in you, the hope for glory.

这奥秘就是：基督在你们中，作了你们获得光荣的希望。

 

It is he whom we proclaim, admonishing everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.

我们所传扬的，就是这位基督；因而，我们以各种智慧，劝告一切人，教训一切人，好把一切人，呈献于天主前，成为在基督内成全的人。

Gospel LK 10:38-42

福音（玛尔大把耶稣接到家里。玛利亚选择了更好的一份。）

恭读圣路加福音　10:38-42

 

Jesus entered a village where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him. She had a sister named Mary who sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak.

那时候，耶稣进入一个村庄。有一个名叫玛尔大的女人，把耶稣接到家里。她有一个妹妹，名叫玛利亚，坐在主的脚前，听他讲话。

 

Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving? Tell her to help me."

玛尔大为侍候耶稣，忙碌不已，便上前来，说：“主！我的妹妹丢下我一个人工作，你不介意吗？请叫她来帮助我吧！”

 

The Lord said to her in reply, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. There is need of only one thing.

主回答玛尔大说：“玛尔大，玛尔大！你为了许多事，操心忙碌，其实需要的，唯有一件。

 

Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her."

玛利亚选择了更好的一份，是不能从她夺去的。”
