读经一（从来没有一位先知像梅瑟，你们怎敢出言反对他？）

Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses on the pretext of the marriage he had contracted with a Cushite woman.

那时候，米黎盎和亚郎为了梅瑟所娶的雇士女人出言反对梅瑟，因为他娶了个雇士女人，

 

They complained, "Is it through Moses alone that the LORD speaks? Does he not speak through us also?” And the LORD heard this.

于是说：“上主岂只与梅瑟交谈，不是也与我们交谈过！”上主听见了这话。

 

Now, Moses himself was by far the meekest man on the face of the earth. So at once the LORD said to Moses and Aaron and Miriam, "Come out, you three, to the meeting tent."

梅瑟为人十分谦和，超过地上所有的人。上主忽然向梅瑟、亚郎和米黎盎说：“你们三人到会幕那里去。”

 

And the three of them went. Then the LORD came down in the column of cloud, and standing at the entrance of the tent, called Aaron and Miriam.

他们三人就去了。上主乘云柱降下，停在会幕门口，叫亚郎和米黎盎；

 

When both came forward, he said, “Now listen to the words of the LORD: Should there be a prophet among you, in visions will I reveal myself to him, in dreams will I speak to him; not so with my servant Moses!

他们两人就走向前去，上主说：“你们听我说：若你们中有一位是先知，我要在神视中显示给他，在梦中与他谈话；但对我的仆人梅瑟却不是这样，

 

Throughout my house he bears my trust: face to face I speak to him; plainly and not in riddles.

他在我全家中是最忠信可靠的。我面对面与他明明说话，不藉谜语，

 

The presence of the LORD he beholds. Why, then, did you not fear to speak against my servant Moses?”

并让他望见上主的形像。为什么你们竟不怕出言反对我的仆人梅瑟？”

 

So angry was the LORD against them that when he departed, and the cloud withdrew from the tent, there was Miriam, a snow-white leper!

上主对他们发着怒走了。彩云一离开会幕，看，米黎盎就生了癞病，像雪那样白；

 

When Aaron turned and saw her a leper, he said to Moses, "Ah, my lord! Please do not charge us with the sin that we have foolishly committed!

亚郎转身看见米黎盎生了癞病，遂对梅瑟说：“我主，恳求你，别使我们因一时愚昧所犯之罪而受罚！

 

Let her not thus be like the stillborn babe that comes forth from its mother's womb with its flesh half consumed." Then Moses cried to the LORD, “Please, not this! Pray, heal her!”

求你别让她像个胎死腹中的人，一出娘胎，肉身就已腐烂了一半。”梅瑟遂向上主呼求说：“天主，我求你治好她吧！”

【答】：天主，求你按照你的仁慈怜悯我！

 

Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness; in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense. Thoroughly wash me from my guilt and of my sin cleanse me.

领：天主，求你按照你的仁慈怜悯我，依你丰厚的慈爱消灭我的罪恶。求你把我的过犯洗尽，求你把我的罪恶除净。

 

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.

【答】：天主，求你按照你的仁慈怜悯我！

 

For I acknowledge my offense; and my sin is before me always: "Against you only have I sinned; and done what is evil in your sight."

领：因为我认清了我的过犯，我的罪恶常在我的眼前。我得罪了你，惟独得罪了你，因为我作了你视为邪恶的事。

 

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.

【答】：天主，求你按照你的仁慈怜悯我！

 

That you may be justified in your sentence, vindicated when you condemn. Indeed, in guilt was I born, and in sin my mother conceived me.

领：因此，在你的判决上，显出你的公义，在你的断案上，显出你的正直。是的，我自出世便染上了罪恶，我的母亲在罪恶中怀孕了我。

 

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.

【答】：天主，求你按照你的仁慈怜悯我！

 

A clean heart create for me, O God, and a steadfast spirit renew within me. Cast me not off from your presence, and your Holy Spirit take not from me.

领：天主，求你给我再造一颗纯洁的心，求你使我心重获坚固的精神。求你不要从你的面前把我抛弃，不要从我身上将你的圣神收回。

 

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.

【答】：天主，求你按照你的仁慈怜悯我！

 

Gospel Mt 14:22-36

福音（主！请叫我在水面上步行到你那里去吧！）

恭读圣玛窦福音 14:22-36

 

Jesus made the disciples get into a boat and precede him to the other side of the sea, while he dismissed the crowds.

群众吃饱以后，耶稣即刻催迫门徒上船，在他以先到对岸去；这期间，他遣散了群众。

 

After doing so, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When it was evening he was there alone.

耶稣遣散了群众以后，他私自上山祈祷去了。到了夜晚，他独自一人在那里。

 

Meanwhile the boat, already a few miles offshore, was being tossed about by the waves, for the wind was against it. During the fourth watch of the night, he came toward them, walking on the sea.

船已离岸几里了，受着波浪的颠簸，因为吹的是逆风。夜间四更时分，耶稣步行海上，朝着他们走去。

 

When the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified. "It is a ghost," they said, and they cried out in fear.

门徒看见他在海上行走，就惊骇说：“是个妖怪。”并且吓得大叫起来。

 

At once Jesus spoke to them, "Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid." Peter said to him in reply, "Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water."

耶稣立即向他们说道：“放心！是我。不必害怕！”伯多禄回答说：“主！如果是你，请下令，我从水面上走到你那里去！”

 

He said, "Come." Peter got out of the boat and began to walk on the water toward Jesus.

耶稣说：“来吧！”伯多禄遂从船上下来，走在水面上，往耶稣那里去。

 

But when he saw how strong the wind was he became frightened; and, beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!"

但他一见风势很强，就害怕起来，并开始下沉，遂大叫说：“主，救我吧！”

 

Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"

耶稣立刻伸手拉住他，对他说：“小信德的人啊！你为什么怀疑？”

 

After they got into the boat, the wind died down. Those who were in the boat did him homage, saying, "Truly, you are the Son of God."

他们一上了船，风就停了。船上的人便朝拜他说：“你真是天主子！”

 

After making the crossing, they came to land at Gennesaret. When the men of that place recognized him, they sent word to all the surrounding country.

他们渡海到对岸，来到革乃撒勒的地方。那地方的人一认出是耶稣，就打发人到周围整个地方，

 

People brought to him all those who were sick and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak, and as many as touched it were healed.

把一切患病的人，都带到耶稣跟前，求耶稣让他们只摸摸他的衣边；凡摸著的，都痊愈了。
