First Reading: NM 20:1-13

读经一（上主使水由盘石中给会众流出来。）

The whole congregation of the children of Israel arrived in the desert of Zin in the first month, and the people settled at Kadesh. It was here that Miriam died, and here that she was buried.

以色列子民全会众于正月来到了“亲”旷野，人民就在卡德士住下了。米黎盎在那里死了，也就埋葬在那里。

 

As the community had no water, they held a council against Moses and Aaron. The people contended with Moses, exclaiming, "Would that we too had perished with our kinsmen in the LORD's presence!

会众没有水喝，就聚在一起反抗梅瑟和亚郎。民众同梅瑟争辩说：“巴不得我们的兄弟在上主面前死去时，我们也死了！

 

Why have you brought the LORD's assembly into this desert where we and our livestock are dying? Why did you lead us out of Egypt, only to bring us to this wretched place

为什么你们领上主的会众来到这旷野里，叫我们和我们的牲畜都死在这里？为什么你们使我们由埃及上来，领我们来到这样坏的地方？

 

which has neither grain nor figs nor vines nor pomegranates? Here there is not even water to drink!" But Moses and Aaron went away from the assembly to the entrance of the meeting tent, where they fell prostrate.

这地方不但没有粮食，没有无花果，没有葡萄，没有石榴，而且连喝的水也没有！”梅瑟和亚郎遂离开会众，来到会幕门口，俯伏在地；

 

Then the glory of the LORD appeared to them, and the LORD said to Moses, "Take your staff and assemble the community, you and your brother Aaron, and in their presence order the rock to yield its waters.

上主的荣耀遂显现给他们。上主吩咐梅瑟说：“你拿上棍杖，然后你和你的兄弟亚郎召集会众，当着他们眼前对这磐石发命，叫磐石流水。

 

From the rock you shall bring forth water for the congregation and their livestock to drink." So Moses took his staff from its place before the LORD, as he was ordered.

这样你便可使水由磐石中给他们流出，给会众和他们的牲畜喝。”梅瑟就照上主的吩咐，由上主面前拿了棍杖。

 

He and Aaron assembled the community in front of the rock, where he said to them, "Listen to me, you rebels! Are we to bring water for you out of this rock?"

梅瑟和亚郎召集会众来到磐石前，对他们说：“你们这些叛徒，听着！我们岂能从这磐石中给你们引出水来？

 

Then, raising his hand, Moses struck the rock twice with his staff, and water gushed out in abundance for the people and their livestock to drink.

梅瑟遂举起手来，用棍杖打了磐石两次，才有大量的水涌出，会众和他们的牲畜都喝够了。

 

But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you were not faithful to me in showing forth my sanctity before the children of Israel, you shall not lead this community into the land I will give them."

上主却对梅瑟和亚郎说：“因为你们没有相信我，使我在以色列子民跟前被尊为圣，所以你们不得领这会众进入我赐给他们的土地。”

 

These are the waters of Meribah, where the children of Israel contended against the LORD, and where the LORD revealed his sanctity among them.

这就是默黎巴水的来历，因为以色列子民在那里与上主争辩过，上主因而显示了自己的圣德。

Come, let us sing joyfully to the LORD; let us acclaim the Rock of our salvation. Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us joyfully sing psalms to him.

领：请大家前来，我们要向上主歌舞，齐向救助我们的盘石高歌欢呼。一齐到他面前，感恩赞颂，向他歌吟圣诗，欢呼吟咏。

 

R. If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

【答】：你们今天要听从上主的声音，不要那样心硬。

 

Come, let us bow down in worship; let us kneel before the LORD who made us. For he is our God, and we are the people he shepherds, the flock he guides.

领：请大家前来，一齐伏地朝拜，向造我们的上主屈膝示爱，因为他是我们的真神，我们是他牧养的人民，是他亲手引导的羊群。

 

R. If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

【答】：你们今天要听从上主的声音，不要那样心硬。

 

Oh, that today you would hear his voice: "Harden not your hearts as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the desert, Where your fathers tested me; they tested me though they had seen my works."

领：你们今天要听从他的声音：不要再像在默黎巴那样心硬，也不要像在旷野中玛撒那天！你们的祖先虽然见过我的工作，在那里他们还是试探我、考验我。

【答】：你们今天要听从上主的声音，不要那样心硬。

 

Gospel MT16:13-23

福音（你是伯多禄，我要将天国的钥匙交给你。）

恭读圣玛窦福音 16:13-23

 

Jesus went into the region of Caesarea Philippi and he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?"

那时候，耶稣来到了斐理伯的凯撒勒雅境内，就问门徒说：“人们说人子是谁？”

 

They replied, "Some say John the Baptist, others Elijah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets."

他们说：“有人说是洗者若翰；有人说是厄里亚；也有人说是耶肋米亚，或先知中的一位。”

 

He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter said in reply, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

耶稣对他们说：“你们说我是谁？”西满伯多禄回答说：“你是默西亚，永生天主之子。”

 

Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father.

耶稣回答他说：“约纳的儿子西满，你是有福的！因为不是肉和血启示了你，而是我在天之父。

 

And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.

我再给你说：你是伯多禄（盘石），在这盘石上，我要创建我的教会，阴间的门决不能战胜她。

 

I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

我要将天国的钥匙交给你：凡你在地上所束缚的，在天上也要被束缚；凡你在地上所释放的，在天上也要被释放。”

 

Then he strictly ordered his disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.

他遂即严禁门徒，不要对任何人说他是默西亚。

 

From that time on, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer greatly from the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised.

从那时起，耶稣就开始向门徒说明：他必须上耶路撒冷去，要由长老、司祭长和经师们受许多痛苦，并将被杀，但第三天要复活。

 

Then Peter took Jesus aside and began to rebuke him, "God forbid, Lord! No such thing shall ever happen to you."

伯多禄便拉耶稣到一边，谏责他说：“主，千万不可这事绝不会临到你身上！”

 

He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle to me. You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do."

耶稣转身对伯多禄说：“撒殚，退到我后面去！你是我的绊脚石，因为你所体会的，不是天主的事，而是人的事。”
