First Reading: 1 THES 1:1-5, 8B-10

读经一（你们离开了偶像，皈依了天主，并期待他的圣子，就是从死者中复活的那位。）

Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy to the Church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: grace to you and peace.

保禄和息耳瓦诺及弟茂德，致书给在天主父及主耶稣基督内的得撒洛尼人的教会：祝你们蒙受恩宠与平安！

 

We give thanks to God always for all of you, remembering you in our prayers, unceasingly calling to mind your work of faith and labor of love

我们常为你们众人感谢天主，在祈祷时常记念你们；不断地在天主和我们的父前，记念你们因信德所作的工作，因爱德所受的劳苦，

 

and endurance in hope of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father, knowing, brothers and sisters loved by God, how you were chosen.

因盼望我们的主耶稣基督所有的坚忍。天主所爱的弟兄们，我们知道你们是蒙召选的，

 

For our Gospel did not come to you in word alone, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with much conviction.

因为我们把福音传到你们那里，不仅在乎言语，而且也在乎德能和圣神，以及坚固的信心；

 

You know what sort of people we were among you for your sake. In every place your faith in God has gone forth, so that we have no need to say anything.

正如你们也知道，我们为了你们，在你们中是怎样为人。你们对天主的信仰也传遍了各地，以致不需要我们再说什么；

 

For they themselves openly declare about us what sort of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God

因为有他们传述我们的事，说我们怎样来到了你们那里，你们怎样离开偶像归依了天主，为事奉永生的真天主，

 

and to await his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus, who delivers us from the coming wrath.

并期待他的圣子自天降下，就是他使之从死者中复活，为救我们脱免那要来的震怒的耶稣。

Sing to the LORD a new song of praise in the assembly of the faithful. Let Israel be glad in their maker, let the children of Zion rejoice in their king.

领：请你们向上主讴唱新歌，在圣者集会中向他祝贺！愿以色列因自己的创造者而踊跃，愿熙雍子民因自己的君王而欢乐！

 

R.  The Lord takes delight in his people.

【答】：上主喜爱自己的百姓。

 

Let them praise his name in the festive dance, let them sing praise to him with timbrel and harp. For the LORD loves his people, and he adorns the lowly with victory.

领：愿他们以舞蹈赞美上主的名，愿他们敲鼓弹琴向上主歌咏！因为上主喜爱自己的百姓，赏赐谦虚的人凯旋而得胜。

 

R.  The Lord takes delight in his people.

【答】：上主喜爱自己的百姓。

 

Let the faithful exult in glory; let them sing for joy upon their couches; Let the high praises of God be in their throats. This is the glory of all his faithful. Alleluia.

领：愿圣徒因所受的光荣而喜庆，在自己的床榻上欢呼而歌颂。愿赞美天主的歌辞在他们的口中，这也就是一切圣徒的光荣。

Gospel MT 23:13-22

福音（祸哉，你们瞎眼的向导！）

恭读圣玛窦福音 23:13-22

 

Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You lock the Kingdom of heaven before men.

那时候，耶稣对民众和他的门徒讲论说：“祸哉，你们经师和法利塞假善人！因为你们给人封闭了天国！

 

You do not enter yourselves, nor do you allow entrance to those trying to enter. "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites.

你们不进去，也不让愿意进去的人进去。（祸哉，你们经师和法利塞假善人！你们吞没了寡妇的家产，而以长久的祈祷作掩饰，为此你们必受更重的处罚。）“祸哉，你们经师和法利塞假善人！

 

You traverse sea and land to make one convert, and when that happens you make him a child of Gehenna twice as much as yourselves.

因为你们走遍了海洋和陆地，为使一个人成为皈依者；几时他成了，你们反而使他成为一个比你们加倍坏的‘地狱之子’。

 

"Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'If one swears by the temple, it means nothing, but if one swears by the gold of the temple, one is obligated.'

“祸哉，你们瞎眼的向导！你们说：谁若指着圣所起誓，不算什么；但是谁若指着圣所的金子起誓，就该还愿。

 

Blind fools, which is greater, the gold, or the temple that made the gold sacred? And you say, 'If one swears by the altar, it means nothing, but if one swears by the gift on the altar, one is obligated.'

又昏又瞎的人啊！究竟什么更贵重：是金子或是那使金子成圣的圣所？还有：谁若指着全燔祭坛起誓，不算什么；但是谁若指着那上面的供物起誓，就该还愿。

 

You blind ones, which is greater, the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? One who swears by the altar swears by it and all that is upon it;

瞎眼的人啊！究竟什么更贵重：是供物或是那使供物成圣的全燔祭坛？所以，那指着全燔祭坛起誓的，是指着它和那上面的一切起誓；

 

one who swears by the temple swears by it and by him who dwells in it; one who swears by heaven swears by the throne of God and by him who is seated on it."

那指着圣所起誓的，是指着那住在它内的而起誓；那指着天起誓的，是指着天主的宝座和坐在上面的那位起誓。”
