First Reading: 1 THES 4:9-11

读经一（你们已由天主接受了彼此相爱的教训。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致得撒洛尼人前书 4:9-11

 

Brothers and sisters: On the subject of fraternal charity you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another.

弟兄们：关于弟兄的友爱，不需要给你们写什么，因为你们自己由天主受了彼此相爱的教训。

 

Indeed, you do this for all the brothers throughout Macedonia. Nevertheless we urge you, brothers and sisters, to progress even more,

你们对全马其顿的众弟兄原已实行了这事；不过，弟兄们，我们劝你们更向前迈进。

 

and to aspire to live a tranquil life, to mind your own affairs, and to work with your own hands, as we instructed you.

你们要以过安定的生活，专务己业，亲手劳作为光荣，就如我们所吩咐过你们的。

【答】：天主以公奔驰理天下万民。

 

Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done wondrous deeds; His right hand has won victory for him, his holy arm.

领：请众向上主歌唱新歌，因为他行了奇事。他的右手和他的圣臂，为他获得了胜利。

 

R. The Lord comes to rule the earth with justice.

【答】：天主以公奔驰理天下万民。

 

Let the sea and what fills it resound, the world and those who dwell in it; Let the rivers clap their hands, the mountains shout with them for joy.

领：海洋及其中的一切澎湃，寰宇及其内的居民惊骇！江河拍手鼓掌，山岳舞蹈欢唱。

 

R. The Lord comes to rule the earth with justice.

【答】：天主以公奔驰理天下万民。

 

Before the LORD, for he comes, for he comes to rule the earth; He will rule the world with justice and the peoples with equity.

领：请在上主面前欢乐，因为他已驾临，他要统治大地干坤；他要以正义审判普世人群，他要以公奔驰理天下万民。

【答】：天主以公奔驰理天下万民。

 

Gospel MT 25:14-30

福音（你既在小事上忠信，我要把许多事给你管理：来享受主人的福乐吧！）

恭读圣玛窦福音 25:14-30

 

Jesus told his disciples this parable: "A man going on a journey called in his servants and entrusted his possessions to them.

那时，耶稣对门徒讲了这个比喻：“天国有如一个要远行的人，将自己的仆人叫来，把财产托付给他们；

 

To one he gave five talents; to another, two; to a third, one– to each according to his ability. Then he went away.

按照他们的才能，一个给了五个“塔冷通”，一个给了两个，一个给了一个；然后动身走了。

 

Immediately the one who received five talents went and traded with them, and made another five. Likewise, the one who received two made another two.

那领了五个“塔冷通”的，立刻去用来营业，另外赚了五个。同样，那领了两个的，也赚了另外两个。

 

But the man who received one went off and dug a hole in the ground and buried his master's money.

但是那领了一个的，却去掘开地，把主人的银子藏了。

 

After a long time the master of those servants came back and settled accounts with them. The one who had received five talents came forward bringing the additional five.

过了多时，仆人的主人回来了，便与他们算账。那领了五个“塔冷通”的上前来，呈上另外五个“塔冷通”

 

He said, 'Master, you gave me five talents. See, I have made five more.' His master said to him, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant.

说：‘主啊！你曾交给我五个“塔冷通”，看，我赚了另外五个“塔冷通”。主人对他说：好！善良忠信的仆人，

 

Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master's joy.'

你既在少许事上忠信，我必委派你管理许多大事：进入你主人的福乐吧！

 

Then the one who had received two talents also came forward and said, 'Master, you gave me two talents. See, I have made two more.'

那领了两个“塔冷通”的也前来说：主啊！你曾交给我两个“塔冷通”，看，我赚了另外两个“塔冷通”。

 

His master said to him, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master's joy.'

主人对他说：好！善良忠信的仆人！你既在小许事上忠信，我必委派你管理许多大事：进入你主人的福乐吧！

 

Then the one who had received the one talent came forward and said, 'Master, I knew you were a demanding person, harvesting where you did not plant and gathering where you did not scatter;

随后，那领了一个“塔冷通”的也前来说：主啊！我原知道你是个刻薄的人，在你没有下种的地方收割，在你没有散布的地方聚敛。

 

so out of fear I went off and buried your talent in the ground. Here it is back.'

因为我害怕，所以我去把你的“塔冷通”藏在地下；看，你的仍还给你。

 

His master said to him in reply, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I did not plant and gather where I did not scatter?

主人回答说：可恶懒惰的仆人！你既知道：我在没有下种的地方收割，在没有散布的地方聚敛；

 

Should you not then have put my money in the bank so that I could have got it back with interest on my return?

那么你就该把我的银子，交给钱庄里的人，待我回来时，把我的连本带利取回。

 

Now then! Take the talent from him and give it to the one with ten. For to everyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

所以，你们把这个“塔冷通”从他手中夺过来，给那有了十个“塔冷通”的，因为凡是有的，还要给他，叫他富裕；那没有的，连他所有的，也要由他手中夺去。

 

And throw this useless servant into the darkness outside, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.'"

至于这无用的仆人，你们把他丢在外面黑暗中，在那里必有哀号和切齿。”
