I, Zechariah, raised my eyes and looked: there was a man with a measuring line in his hand.

我举目观看，望见有一个人手里拿着绳墨。

 

I asked, "Where are you going?" He answered, "To measure Jerusalem, to see how great is its width and how great its length."

我问他说：“你往那里去？”他回答我说：“我要去测量耶路撒冷，看她有多宽多长。”

 

Then the angel who spoke with me advanced, and another angel came out to meet him and said to him, "Run, tell this to that young man:

正当那与我谈话的使者出来时，另一位使者出来迎上他，对他说：“你跑去告诉那青年人说：

 

People will live in Jerusalem as though in open country, because of the multitude of men and beasts in her midst.

耶路撒冷将成为无边际的区域，因为其中的人畜太多了！

 

But I will be for her an encircling wall of fire, says the LORD, and I will be the glory in her midst."

上主说：至于我，我要作她四周的火墙，作她中间的荣耀！”

 

Sing and rejoice, O daughter Zion! See, I am coming to dwell among you, says the LORD.

上主说：熙雍女子，欢呼喜乐吧！因为我要来住在你中间。

 

Many nations shall join themselves to the LORD on that day, and they shall be his people and he will dwell among you.

在那一天，有许多民族要归依上主，要成为他的百姓，并住在你中间。

R. The Lord will guard us as a shepherd guards his flock.

【答】：上主看守我们，像牧童看守他的羊群。

 

Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, proclaim it on distant isles, and say: He who scattered Israel, now gathers them together, he guards them as a shepherd guards his flock.

领：万民！请听上主的话，向遥远的海岛宣传说：那昔日驱散以色列的，再要聚集他们，看守他们像牧童看守自己的羊群。

 

R. The Lord will guard us as a shepherd guards his flock.

【答】：上主看守我们，像牧童看守他的羊群。

 

The LORD shall ransom Jacob, he shall redeem him from the hand of his conqueror. Shouting, they shall mount the heights of Zion, they shall come streaming to the LORD's blessings.

领：因为上主必拯救雅各伯，从比他更强者的手中将他赎回。他们将要前来，在熙雍山巅欢呼，涌向上主的美物。

 

R. The Lord will guard us as a shepherd guards his flock.

【答】：上主看守我们，像牧童看守他的羊群。

 

Then the virgins shall make merry and dance, and young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into joy, I will console and gladden them after their sorrows.

领：那时，处女必欢欣鼓舞，老幼必相聚同乐，因为我将使他们的悲哀变成喜乐，使他们由自己的忧苦中获得安慰欢乐。

 

R. The Lord will guard us as a shepherd guards his flock.

【答】：上主看守我们，像牧童看守他的羊群。

While they were all amazed at his every deed, Jesus said to his disciples, "Pay attention to what I am telling you. The Son of Man is to be handed over to men."

当众人惊奇耶稣所作的一切时，他向自己的门徒说：“你们应谨记这些话：人子将要被交于人的手中。”

 

But they did not understand this saying; its meaning was hidden from them so that they should not understand it, and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.

但他们不明瞭这话，这话为他们还是蒙蔽着，他们仍不能了解；他们又怕问他这话的意思。
