First Reading: ZEC 8:20-23

Thus says the LORD of hosts: There shall yet come peoples, the inhabitants of many cities; and the inhabitants of one city shall approach those of another,

万军的上主这样说：“还有许多民族和各大城的居民要前来；一城的居民到另一城去，

 

and say, "Come! Let us go to implore the favor of the LORD"; and, "I too will go to seek the LORD."

向该城的居民说：我们快去恳求上主开恩，去寻求万军的上主！我也同去。”

 

Many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem and to implore the favor of the LORD.

将有许多民族和强盛的国民，来到耶路撒冷寻求万军的上主，恳求上主开恩。

 

Thus says the LORD of hosts: In those days ten men of every nationality, speaking different tongues, shall take hold, yes, take hold of every Jew by the edge of his garment and say, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."

万军的上主这样说：“在那些日子里，十个说异国方言的人将抓住一个犹太人的衣边说：我们要同你们一起去，因为我们听说天主同你们在一起。”

His foundation upon the holy mountains the LORD loves: The gates of Zion, more than any dwelling of Jacob. Glorious things are said of you, O city of God!

领：上主喜爱自己的宫殿，是建筑在圣山上。他喜爱熙雍所有的城门，胜过雅各伯所有的帐棚。天主的圣城！人们论到你，曾经说了许多光荣的事。

 

R. God is with us.

【答】：天主同我们在一起。

 

I tell of Egypt and Babylon among those that know the LORD; Of Philistia, Tyre, Ethiopia: “This man was born there.” And of Zion they shall say: “One and all were born in her; And he who has established her is the Most High LORD.”

领：“我要将辣哈布和巴比伦，列于认识我者的人群中：连培肋舍特、提洛和雇土人，这些人都是在你那里出生。论到熙雍，人要称她为母亲，人人都是在她那里出生；至高者要亲自使她坚定。”

【答】：天主同我们在一起。

 

They shall note, when the peoples are enrolled: “This man was born there.” And all shall sing, in their festive dance: “My home is within you.”

领：上主要在万民户籍上留名：这些人也都是在那里出生。人们要在舞蹈时歌唱说：“我的一切泉源都在你内。”

Gospel LK 9:51-56

福音（耶稣决意向耶路撒冷走去。）

When the days for Jesus to be taken up were fulfilled, he resolutely determined to journey to Jerusalem, and he sent messengers ahead of him.

耶稣被接升天的日期，就快要来到，他遂决意向耶路撒冷走去，便打发使者在他面前走；

 

On the way they entered a Samaritan village to prepare for his reception there, but they would not welcome him because the destination of his journey was Jerusalem.

他们去了，进了撒玛黎雅人的一个村庄，好为他准备住宿。人们却不收留他，因为他是面朝耶路撒冷去的。

 

When the disciples James and John saw this they asked, “Lord, do you want us to call down fire from heaven to consume them?”

雅各伯及若望两个门徒见了，便说：“主，你愿意我们叫火自天降下，焚毁他们吗？”

 

Jesus turned and rebuked them, and they journeyed to another village.

耶稣转过身来斥责了他们。他们遂又到别的村庄去了。
