Third Sunday of Advent

将临期第三主日

 

 

First Reading: IS 35:1-6A, 10

读经一（天主要亲自来拯救我们！）

恭读依撒意亚先知书　35:1-6,10

 

The desert and the parched land will exult; the steppe will rejoice and bloom. They will bloom with abundant flowers, and rejoice with joyful song.

荒野和不毛之地必要欢乐，沙漠必要欣喜，如花盛开，盛开得有如百合，高兴得欢乐歌唱，

 

The glory of Lebanon will be given to them, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.

因为它们将获得黎巴嫩的光华、加尔默耳和沙龙的美丽。它们将见到上主的荣耀、我们天主的光辉。

 

Strengthen the hands that are feeble, make firm the knees that are weak, say to those whose hearts are frightened: Be strong, fear not!

你们应加强痿弱的手，坚固颤动的膝，告诉心怯的人说：“鼓起勇气来，不要畏惧！

 

Here is your God, he comes with vindication; with divine recompense he comes to save you.

看，你们天主！报复已到！天主的报酬已到！他要亲自来拯救你们。”

 

Then will the eyes of the blind be opened, the ears of the deaf be cleared; then will the lame leap like a stag, then the tongue of the mute will sing.

那时，盲人将会看见，聋子将要听到；那时，瘸子必要跳跃如鹿，哑吧的舌头，必要欢呼。

 

Those whom the LORD has ransomed will return and enter Zion singing, crowned with everlasting joy; they will meet with joy and gladness, sorrow and mourning will flee.

上主所解救的人必要归来，快乐地来到熙雍；永久的欢乐，有如冠冕，戴在他们头上。他们将尽享快乐和欢喜，再没有忧愁和悲哀。

O God, with your judgment endow the king, and with your justice, the king's son; he shall govern your people with justice and your afflicted ones with judgment.

领：上主为被欺压的人辩护；上主赐食物给饥饿的人；上主使被囚的人，获得自由。

 

R. Lord, come and save us.

【答】：上主，请你来，拯救我们。

 

The LORD gives sight to the blind; the LORD raises up those who were bowed down. The LORD loves the just; the LORD protects strangers.

领：上主打开瞎子的眼睛；上主使伛偻的人直身；上主爱慕正义的人，保护旅客。

 

R. Lord, come and save us.

【答】：上主，请你来，拯救我们。

 

The fatherless and the widow he sustains, but the way of the wicked he thwarts. The LORD shall reign forever; your God, O Zion, through all generations.

领：上主支持孤儿寡妇；上主迷惑恶人的道路。愿上主永永远远为王！熙雍，你的天主万寿无疆！

 

R. Lord, come and save us.

【答】：上主，请你来，拯救我们。

 

Second Reading : JAS 5:7-10

读经二（该坚固你们的心，因为主的来临已接近了。）

恭读圣雅各伯书　5:7-10

 

Be patient, brothers and sisters, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains.

弟兄姊妹们：直到主的来临，你们应该忍耐。看，农夫多么忍耐，期待田地里宝贵的出产，直到获得时雨和晚雨。

 

You too must be patient. Make your hearts firm, because the coming of the Lord is at hand.

你们也该忍耐，坚固你们的心，因为主的来临已接近了。

 

Do not complain, brothers and sisters, about one another, that you may not be judged. Behold, the Judge is standing before the gates.

弟兄们，不要彼此抱怨，免得你们受审判；看，审判者已站在门前。

 

Take as an example of hardship and patience, brothers and sisters, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.

弟兄们，应以那些曾因上主之名讲话的先知们，作为受苦和忍耐的模范。

Gospel MT 11:2-11

福音（你就是要来的那一位，或是我们还要等候另一位？）

恭读圣玛窦福音　11:2-11

 

When John the Baptist heard in prison of the works of the Christ, he sent his disciples to Jesus with this question, "Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?"

那时候，若翰在狱中听了基督所行的，就派遣他的门徒去问耶稣说：“你就是要来的那一位，或是我们还要等候另一位？”

 

Jesus said to them in reply, "Go and tell John what you hear and see: the blind regain their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the good news proclaimed to them.

耶稣回答他们说：“你们去，把你们所见所闻的，报告给若翰：瞎子看见，跛子行走，痲疯病人得到洁净，聋子听见，死人复活，穷苦的人得闻喜讯。

 

And blessed is the one who takes no offense at me."

凡不因我而绊倒的，是有福的！”

 

As they were going off, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John, "What did you go out to the desert to see?

他们走了以后，耶稣就对群众讲论若翰说：“你们出去到荒野，是为看什么呢？

 

A reed swayed by the wind? Then what did you go out to see? Someone dressed in fine clothing? Those who wear fine clothing are in royal palaces.

为看随风摇曳的芦苇吗？你们出去到底是为看什么？为看一位穿细软衣服的人吗？啊！那穿细软衣服的人，是在王宫里。

 

Then why did you go out? To see a prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.

你们究竟为什么出去？为看一位先知吗？是的！我给你们说：而且他比先知还大。

 

This is the one about whom it is written: Behold, I am sending my messenger ahead of you; he will prepare your way before you.

关于这人，经上记载说：‘看，我派遣我的使者在你面前，他要在你前面，预备你的道路。’

 

Amen, I say to you, among those born of women there has been none greater than John the Baptist; yet the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he."

我实在告诉你们：在妇女所生的，没有兴起一位比洗者若翰更大的；但在天国里最小的，也比他大。”
