恭读撒慕尔纪上 1:24-28

 

In those days, Hannah brought Samuel with her, along with a three-year-old bull, an ephah of flour, and a skin of wine, and presented him at the temple of the LORD in Shiloh.

撒慕尔断乳后，亚纳便带着他和一头三岁的牛，一“厄法”面和一皮囊酒，来到史罗上主的圣殿；孩子还很小。

 

After the boy's father had sacrificed the young bull, Hannah, his mother, approached Eli and said:

他们祭杀了牛以后，孩子的母亲来到厄里前，对他说：

 

Pardon, my lord! As you live, my lord, I am the woman who stood near you here, praying to the LORD. I prayed for this child, and the LORD granted my request.

我主，请听：我主，就如你活着那样真实，我就是曾在你旁边祈求上主的那个妇人，那时我为得到这孩子祈祷，上主就赏赐了我所恳求的，

 

Now I, in turn, give him to the LORD; as long as he lives, he shall be dedicated to the LORD." She left Samuel there.

所以我现在把他献于上主，他一生是属于上主的。”亚纳便把撒慕尔留在上主那里。

My heart exults in the LORD, my horn is exalted in my God. I have swallowed up my enemies; I rejoice in my victory.

领：我从心里喜乐于上主，我的头因天主而高仰；我可开口嘲笑我的敌人，因为我喜乐于你的救助。

 

R. My heart exults in the Lord, my Savior.

【答】：我从心里喜乐于上主，我的救主。

 

The bows of the mighty are broken, while the tottering gird on strength. The well-fed hire themselves out for bread, while the hungry batten on spoil. The barren wife bears seven sons, while the mother of many languishes.

领：壮士的弓已被折断，衰弱者反而力量倍增。曾享饱饫的，今佣工求食；曾受饥饿的，今无须劳役；不妊的生了七子，多产者反而生育停顿。

 

R. My heart exults in the Lord, my Savior.

【答】：我从心里喜乐于上主，我的救主。

 

The LORD puts to death and gives life; he casts down to the nether world; he raises up again. The LORD makes poor and makes rich, he humbles, he also exalts.

领：上主使人死，也使人活；使人降入阴府，也将人由阴府提出；上主使人穷，也使人富；贬抑人，也举扬人。

 

R. My heart exults in the Lord, my Savior.

【答】：我从心里喜乐于上主，我的救主。

 

He raises the needy from the dust; from the dung heap he lifts up the poor, To seat them with nobles and make a glorious throne their heritage.

领：上主由尘埃中提拔卑贱者，从粪土中高举贫穷者，使他与王侯同席，承受光荣座位；大地的支柱原属上主，支柱上奠定了世界。

 

R. My heart exults in the Lord, my Savior.

【答】：我从心里喜乐于上主，我的救主。

 

Gospel Lk 1:46-56

福音（全能者在我身上行了大事。）

恭读圣路加福音 1:46-56

 

Mary said: "My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my savior. for he has looked upon his lowly servant.

玛利亚遂说：“我的灵魂颂扬上主，我的心神欢跃于天主，我的救主，因为他垂顾了他婢女的卑微；

 

From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name.

今后万世万代都要称我有福；因为全能者在我身上行了大事，他的名字是圣的，

 

He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, and has scattered the proud in their conceit.

他的仁慈世世代代于无穷世，赐与敬畏他的人。他伸出了手臂施展大能，驱散那些心高气傲的人。

 

He has cast down the mighty from their thrones and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.

他从高座上推下权势者，却举扬了卑微贫困的人。他曾使饥饿者饱飨美物，反使那富有者空手而去。

 

He has come to the help of his servant Israel for he remembered his promise of mercy, the promise he made to our fathers, to Abraham and his children for ever."

他曾回忆起自己的仁慈，扶助了他的仆人以色列；正如他向我们的祖先所说过的恩许，施恩于亚巴郎和他的子孙，直到永远。”

 

Mary remained with Elizabeth about three months and then returned to her home.

玛利亚同依撒伯尔住了三个月左右，就回本家去了。
