First Reading:  SIR 3:2-6, 12-14

读经一（敬畏上主的人，必孝敬父母。）

恭读德训篇  3:3-7,14-17

 

God sets a father in honor over his children; a mother's authority he confirms over her sons.

上主愿意父亲受儿女的尊敬，且确定了母亲对子女的权利。

 

Whoever honors his father atones for sins, and preserves himself from them. When he prays, he is heard;

孝敬父亲的人，必能补赎罪过，且能戒避罪恶；在祈祷之日，必蒙应允。

 

he stores up riches who reveres his mother.

孝敬母亲的人，就如积蓄珍宝的人。

 

Whoever honors his father is gladdened by children, and, when he prays, is heard.

孝敬父亲的人，必在子女身上获得喜乐；当他祈祷时，必蒙应允。

 

Whoever reveres his father will live a long life; he who obeys his father brings comfort to his mother.

孝敬父亲的，必享长寿；听从上主的，必使母亲得到安慰。

 

My son, take care of your father when he is old; grieve him not as long as he lives.

我儿，你父亲年老了，你当扶助他；在他有生之日，不要使他忧伤。

 

Even if his mind fail, be considerate of him; revile him not all the days of his life;

若他的智力衰弱了，你要对他有耐心，不要因你年富力强就藐视他；

 

kindness to a father will not be forgotten, firmly planted against the debt of your sins —a house raised in justice to you.

因为，对父亲的孝爱，是不会被遗忘的；天主必要赦免你的罪过，复兴你的家庭。（你对母亲的接纳，必获赏报；天主必依公义，创建你的家庭。）

Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways! For you shall eat the fruit of your handiwork; blessed shall you be, and favored.

领：不拘你是谁，只要你敬畏上主，在他道路上行走，就算有福！你能吃你双手赚来的食物，你便实在幸运，也万事有福！

 

R.  Blessed are those who fear the Lord and walk in his ways.

【答】：敬畏上主、在他道路上行走的人，就算有福！

 

Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the recesses of your home; your children like olive plants around your table.

领：你的妻子住在你的内室，像一株葡萄树，结实累累；你的子女，围绕着你的桌椅，相似橄榄树茂密的枝叶。

【答】：敬畏上主、在他道路上行走的人，就算有福！

 

Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears the LORD. The LORD bless you from Zion: may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

领：的确，谁敬畏上主，必有这样的祝福！惟愿上主由熙雍圣山，向你祝福，使你一生得见耶路撒冷的福禄。

Second Reading : COL 3:12-21

读经二（基督徒的家庭生活。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致哥罗森人书 3:12-21

 

Brothers and sisters: Put on, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,

弟兄姊妹们：你们该如天主所拣选的，所爱的圣者，穿上怜悯的心肠、仁慈、谦卑、良善和含忍；

 

bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if one has a grievance against another;

如果有人对某人有什么怨恨的事，要彼此担待，互相宽恕；

 

as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also do. And over all these put on love, that is, the bond of perfection.

就如主怎样宽恕了你们，你们也要怎样宽恕人。在这一切之上，尤该有爱德，因为爱德是全德的联系。

 

And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. And be thankful.

还要叫基督的平安，在你们心中作主；你们所以蒙召存于一个身体内，也是为此，所以，你们该有感恩之心。

 

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, as in all wisdom you teach and admonish one another, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

要让基督的话，充分存在你们内；以各种智慧彼此教导规劝；以圣咏、诗词和属神的歌曲，在你们心内，怀着感恩之情，歌颂天主。

 

And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

你们无论作什么，在言语上或在行为上，一切都该因主耶稣的名而作，藉着他，感谢天主圣父。

Gospel MT 2:13-15, 19-23

福音（你带着婴孩和他的母亲，逃往埃及去。）

恭读圣玛窦福音　2:13-15,19-23

 

When the magi had departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, "Rise, take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you. Herod is going to search for the child to destroy him."

贤士们离去后，看，上主的天使托梦，显现于若瑟，说：“起来，带着婴孩和他的母亲，逃往埃及，住在那里，直到我再通知你，因为黑落德即将寻找这婴孩，要把他杀掉。”

 

Joseph rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed for Egypt. He stayed there until the death of Herod, that what the Lord had said through the prophet might be fulfilled, Out of Egypt I called my son.

若瑟便起来，星夜带了婴孩和他的母亲，退避到埃及去。留在那里，直到黑落德死去。这就应验了上主藉先知所说的话：“我从埃及召回了我的儿子。”

 

When Herod had died, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt and said, "Rise, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the child's life are dead."

黑落德死后，看，上主的天使在埃及托梦，显现于若瑟，说：“起来，带着孩子和他的母亲，往以色列去，因为那些谋杀孩子性命的人已经死了。”

 

He rose, took the child and his mother, and went to the land of Israel.

若瑟便起来，带了孩子和他的母亲，进入以色列地域。

 

But when he heard that Archelaus was ruling over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go back there.

但是，若瑟一听说阿尔赫劳继承他父亲黑落德，作了犹太王，就害怕到那里去；

 

And because he had been warned in a dream, he departed for the region of Galilee. He went and dwelt in a town called Nazareth,

梦中得了指示后，便退避到加里肋亚境内，去住在一座名叫纳匝肋的城里。

 

so that what had been spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled, He shall be called a Nazorean.

如此，应验了先知们所说的话：“他将称为纳匝肋人。”
