First Reading: 1 SM 16:1-13

读经一（撒慕尔给达味傅了油，上主的神便降临于达味。）

The LORD said to Samuel: "How long will you grieve for Saul, whom I have rejected as king of Israel?

上主对撒慕尔说：“我既然废弃了撒乌耳，不要他作以色列的君王，你为他要悲伤到几时呢？

 

Fill your horn with oil, and be on your way. I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem, for I have chosen my king from among his sons."

把你的角盛满油，我派你到白冷人叶瑟那里去，因为在他的儿子中，我已为我选定了一位君王。”

 

But Samuel replied: "How can I go? Saul will hear of it and kill me." To this the LORD answered: "Take a heifer along and say, 'I have come to sacrifice to the LORD.'

撒慕尔回答说：“我怎能去？若撒乌耳听说了，必要杀我。”上主回答说：“你手里牵一头小母牛说：我为祭献上主而来，

 

Invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I myself will tell you what to do; you are to anoint for me the one I point out to you."

你应请叶瑟参与祭献，我要告诉你当作的事，你要为我所指给你的人傅油。”

 

Samuel did as the LORD had commanded him. When he entered Bethlehem, the elders of the city came trembling to meet him and inquired, “Is your visit peaceful, O seer?"

撒慕尔遂依照上主吩咐他的作了。及至到了白冷，城内的长老都战栗前来迎接他说：“你驾临这里平安吗？”

 

He replied: "Yes!  I have come to sacrifice to the LORD. So cleanse yourselves and join me today for the banquet."

他回答说：“平安，我是为祭献上主而来的，你们应圣洁自己，来同我一起献祭。”

 

He also had Jesse and his sons cleanse themselves and invited them to the sacrifice.

撒慕尔圣洁了叶瑟和他的儿子，请他们来参与祭献。

 

As they came, he looked at Eliab and thought, "Surely the LORD's anointed is here before him."

他们一来到，他见了厄里雅布，心里想：这一定是立在上主前的受傅者。

 

But the LORD said to Samuel: "Do not judge from his appearance or from his lofty stature, because I have rejected him.

但上主对撒慕尔说：“你不要注意他的容貌和他高大的身材，我拒绝要他，

 

Not as man sees does God see, because he sees the appearance but the LORD looks into the heart."

因为天主的看法与人不同：人看外貌，上主却看人心。”

 

Then Jesse called Abinadab and presented him before Samuel, who said,"The LORD has not chosen him."

叶瑟叫阿彼纳达布来，领他到撒慕尔面前；但是撒慕尔说：“这也不是上主所拣选的。”

 

Next Jesse presented Shammah, but Samuel said, "The LORD has not chosen this one either."

叶瑟就叫沙玛来；撒慕尔又说：“这也不是上主所拣选的。”

 

In the same way Jesse presented seven sons before Samuel, but Samuel said to Jesse, "The LORD has not chosen any one of these."

叶瑟就叫他的七个儿子都到撒慕尔面前来，撒慕尔对叶瑟说：“上主没有拣选这些人。”

 

Then Samuel asked Jesse, "Are these all the sons you have?" Jesse replied, "There is still the youngest, who is tending the sheep."

撒慕尔于是问叶瑟说：“孩子们全到了吗？”他回答说：“还有一个最小的，他正在放羊。”

 

Samuel said to Jesse, "Send for him; we will not begin the sacrificial banquet until he arrives here." Jesse sent and had the young man brought to them.

撒慕尔对叶瑟说：“快派人带他来，因为他不来，我们决不入席。”叶瑟于是派人把孩子带来，

 

He was ruddy, a youth handsome to behold and making a splendid appearance. The LORD said, "There–anoint him, for this is he!"

他是一个有血色，眉清目秀，外貌英俊的少年。上主说：“起来，给他傅油，就是这一位。”

 

Then Samuel, with the horn of oil in hand, anointed him in the midst of his brothers;

撒慕尔拿起油角来，在他兄弟们中给他傅了油。

 

and from that day on, the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon David. When Samuel took his leave, he went to Ramah.

从那天起，上主的神便降临于达味。事后，撒慕尔起身回了辣玛。

Once you spoke in a vision, and to your faithful ones you said: "On a champion I have placed a crown; over the people I have set a youth."

领：上主，你曾在异象中向你的圣者说：我已经给那有能者加了冕，由百姓中将我所选者举荐。

 

R. I have found David, my servant.

【答】：我拣选达味做我的忠仆。

 

I have found David, my servant; with my holy oil I have anointed him, That my hand may be always with him, and that my arm may make him strong.

领：我拣选达味做我的忠仆，也给他傅抹了我的圣油。我的双手必常扶持他，我的臂膀必常坚固他。

 

R. I have found David, my servant.

【答】：我拣选达味做我的忠仆。

 

He shall say of me, 'You are my father, my God, the Rock, my savior.' And I will make him the first-born, highest of the kings of the earth.

领：他要称赞我说：“你是我的大父，是我救恩的盘石，是我的天主。”我也要立定他为首生子，他高出世上所有的君主。

 

R. I have found David, my servant.

【答】：我拣选达味做我的忠仆。

 

Gospel MK 2:23-28

福音（安息日是为人立的，并不是人为了安息日。）

As Jesus was passing through a field of grain on the Sabbath, his disciples began to make a path while picking the heads of grain.

有一次，正当安息日，耶稣从麦田里路过，他的门徒在行路时掐食起麦穗来。

 

At this the Pharisees said to him, "Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?"

法利塞人向耶稣说：“你看！他们为什么做安息日不许做的事？”

 

He said to them, "Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions were hungry?

耶稣对法利塞人说：“你们从未读过：达味在急迫中和同他一起的人，在饥饿时所作的事吗？

 

How he went into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest and ate the bread of offering that only the priests could lawfully eat, and shared it with his companions?"

当厄贝雅塔尔作大司祭时，达味怎样进了天主的殿，吃了除司祭外，谁也不许吃的供饼，并且还给了同他一起的人？”

 

Then he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. That is why the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath."

耶稣又对他们说：“安息日是为人立的，并不是人为了安息日；所以，人子也是安息日的主。”
