读经一（上主，我是谁？我的家族又算什么？）

恭读撒慕尔纪下 7:18-19,24-29

 

After Nathan had spoken to King David, the king went in and sat before the LORD and said, "Who am I, Lord GOD,

纳堂将整个启示告诉达味以后，达味就进去，端坐在上主面前说：“我主上主！我是谁？

 

and who are the members of my house, that you have brought me to this point? Yet even this you see as too little, Lord GOD;

我的家族又算什么，你竟领我到了这个地步？我主上主！这在你眼中还以为太小，

 

you have also spoken of the house of your servant for a long time to come: this too you have shown to man, Lord GOD!

而你又说明瞭你仆人的家族未来的远景，并将此事显示给我这个人，我主上主！

 

You have established for yourself your people Israel as yours forever, and you, LORD, have become their God.

你将你民以色列永远坚定为你的民族，你，上主做了他们的天主。

 

And now, LORD God, confirm for all time the prophecy you have made concerning your servant and his house, and do as you have promised.

我主上主！现在，求你永远坚持你论及你的仆人和他的家室所说的话，按照你所说的履行吧！

 

Your name will be forever great, when men say, 'The LORD of hosts is God of Israel,' and the house of your servant David stands firm before you.

愿你的名永远受尊崇！人要说：万军的上主是以色列的天主！愿你仆人达味的家室，永远坚定在你面前！

 

It is you, LORD of hosts, God of Israel, who said in a revelation to your servant, 'I will build a house for you.'

万军的上主，以色列的天主！因为你曾启示你的仆人说：我要创建你的家室，

 

Therefore your servant now finds the courage to make this prayer to you.

因此，你的仆人才敢在你面前向你如此祈祷。

 

And now, Lord GOD, you are God and your words are truth; you have made this generous promise to your servant.

我主上主，惟有你是天主！你的话是真理，是你向你仆人应许了这些恩惠。

 

Do, then, bless the house of your servant that it may be before you forever; for you, Lord GOD, have promised, and by your blessing the house of your servant shall be blessed forever.”

求你如今就祝福你仆人的家室，使它永远在你面前存立，因为是你，我主上主所预许的，因此，你仆人的家室，必因你的祝福永远获得祝福。”

【答】：上主天主要把默西亚祖先达味的御座赐给他。

 

LORD, remember David and all his anxious care; How he swore an oath to the LORD, vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob.

领：上主，求你以慈爱怀念达味，和他所有的一切焦思劳瘁：因为他曾向上主立过誓言，向雅各伯的全能者许过愿。

 

R. The Lord God will give him the throne of David, his father.

【答】：上主天主要把默西亚祖先达味的御座赐给他。

 

I will not enter the house where I live, nor lie on the couch where I sleep; I will give my eyes no sleep, my eyelids no rest, Till I find a home for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.

领：我决不进入我家中的帐幔，也决不登上我躺卧的床沿，不容许我的眼睛睡眠，也不让我的眼睑安闲，直到我给上主寻找到一个处所，给雅各伯的全能者将居地觅妥。

 

R. The Lord God will give him the throne of David, his father.

【答】：上主天主要把默西亚祖先达味的御座赐给他。

 

The LORD swore an oath to David a firm promise from which he will not withdraw: “Your own offspring I will set upon your throne.”

领：上主既然向达味起了誓，真理的约言决不再收回：“我要使你的亲生儿子，荣登上你自己的王位。”

 

R. The Lord God will give him the throne of David, his father.

【答】：上主天主要把默西亚祖先达味的御座赐给他。

 

If your sons keep my covenant, and the decrees which I shall teach them, Their sons, too, forever shall sit upon your throne.

领：若你的子孙遵守我的誓言，也遵守我教训他们的法典，连他们的子孙代代世世，也必定要坐上你的王位。

 

R. The Lord God will give him the throne of David, his father.

【答】：上主天主要把默西亚祖先达味的御座赐给他。

 

For the LORD has chosen Zion, he prefers her for his dwelling: “Zion is my resting place forever; in her I will dwell, for I prefer her.”

领：的确上主特别选择了熙雍，希望熙雍作为自己的王宫：这就是我的永远安息之处，我希望的是常在这里居住。

Gospel  MK 4:21-25

福音（灯应放在灯台上。你们用什么尺度量人﹐也要用什么尺度量你们。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 4:21-25

 

Jesus said to his disciples, "Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket or under a bed, and not to be placed on a lampstand?

那时，耶稣向门徒们说：“人拿灯来，岂是为放在斗底或床下吗？不是为放在灯台上吗？

 

For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible; nothing is secret except to come to light. Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear."

因为没有什么隐藏的事，不是为显露出来的；也没有隐密的事，不是为彰明出来的。谁若有耳听，听吧！”

 

He also told them, "Take care what you hear. The measure with which you measure will be measured out to you, and still more will be given to you.

耶稣又向他们说：“要留心你们所听的：你们用什么尺度量给人，也要用什么尺度量给你们，且要多加给你们，

 

To the one who has, more will be given; from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away."

因为凡有的，还要给他；凡没有的，连他所有的，也要从他夺去。”
