First Reading:  2 SM 11:1-4A, 5-10A, 13-17

读经一（你轻视了我，强占了乌黎雅的妻子，据为己有。）

At the turn of the year, when kings go out on campaign, David sent out Joab along with his officers and the army of Israel, and they ravaged the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah.

年初，正当诸王出征的季节，达味派约阿布率领他的将官和全以色列人出征，他们蹂躏了阿孟子民，就包围辣巴。

 

David, however, remained in Jerusalem. One evening David rose from his siesta and strolled about on the roof of the palace.

当时达味住在耶路撒冷。一天傍晚，达味由床上起来，在宫殿的房顶上散步；

 

From the roof he saw a woman bathing, who was very beautiful. David had inquiries made about the woman

从房顶上看见一个女人在沐浴，这女人容貌很美。达味遂派人打听那女人是谁；

 

and was told, "She is Bathsheba, daughter of Eliam, and wife of Joab's armor bearer Uriah the Hittite."

有人告诉他说：“这不是厄里安的女儿，赫特人乌黎雅的妻子巴特舍巴吗？”

 

Then David sent messengers and took her. When she came to him, he had relations with her. She then returned to her house.

达味就派人将她接来；她来到他那里，达味就与她同寝，那时她的月经刚洁净了。

 

But the woman had conceived, and sent the information to David, "I am with child."

不久，那女人自觉怀孕，就打发人告诉达味说：“我怀了孕。”

 

David therefore sent a message to Joab, "Send me Uriah the Hittite." So Joab sent Uriah to David.

达味派人给约阿布说：“打发赫特人乌黎雅来见我。”约阿布就打发乌黎雅去见达味。

 

When he came, David questioned him about Joab, the soldiers, and how the war was going, and Uriah answered that all was well.

乌黎雅一来到他跟前，达味就问：“约阿布近来如何？士兵好吗？战事怎样？”

 

David then said to Uriah, "Go down to your house and bathe your feet." Uriah left the palace, and a portion was sent out after him from the king's table.

达味向乌黎雅说：“你下到家中洗洗脚吧！”乌黎雅刚离开王宫，随后就送来了国王的饮食。

 

But Uriah slept at the entrance of the royal palace with the other officers of his lord, and did not go down to his own house.

乌黎雅却同他主人的仆役一起睡在宫门旁，没有下到家里。

 

David was told that Uriah had not gone home. On the day following, David summoned him, and he ate and drank with David, who made him drunk.

有人报告达味说：“乌黎雅并没有回到自己家里。”达味召他来与自己一起宴饮，将他灌醉。

 

But in the evening Uriah went out to sleep on his bed among his lord's servants, and did not go down to his home.

傍晚，乌黎雅出去，仍与他主人的仆役睡在一起，并没有到家里去。

 

The next morning David wrote a letter to Joab which he sent by Uriah. In it he directed: "Place Uriah up front, where the fighting is fierce. Then pull back and leave him to be struck down dead."

到了早晨，达味给约阿布写了一封信，要乌黎雅亲手带去。他在信上写说：“你应派乌黎雅到战事最激烈的前线，然后，在他后边撤退，让他受攻击阵亡。”

 

So while Joab was besieging the city, he assigned Uriah to a place where he knew the defenders were strong.

约阿布查看那城以后，知道那里有最强悍的敌人，就派乌黎雅到那里去了。

 

When the men of the city made a sortie against Joab, some officers of David's army fell, and among them Uriah the Hittite died.

城内的人出来，与约阿布交战，达味的仆役中，有些人阵亡了，赫特人乌黎雅也阵亡了。

【答】：上主，求你垂怜，因为我们犯了罪。

 

Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness; in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense. Thoroughly wash me from my guilt and of my sin cleanse me.

领：天主，求你按照你的仁慈怜悯我，依你丰厚的慈爱，消灭我的罪恶。求你把我的过犯洗尽，求你把我的罪恶除净。

 

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.

【答】：上主，求你垂怜，因为我们犯了罪。

 

For I acknowledge my offense, and my sin is before me always: "Against you only have I sinned, and done what is evil in your sight."

领：因为我认清了我的过犯，我的罪恶常在我的眼前。我得罪了你，惟独得罪了你，因为我作了你视为恶的事。

 

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.

【答】：上主，求你垂怜，因为我们犯了罪。

 

I have done such evil in your sight that you are just in your sentence, blameless when you condemn. True, I was born guilty, a sinner, even as my mother conceived me.

领：因此，在你的判决上，显出你的公义，在你的断案上，显出你的正直。是的，我自出世便染上了罪恶，我的母亲在罪恶中怀孕了我。

 

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.

【答】：上主，求你垂怜，因为我们犯了罪。

 

Let me hear the sounds of joy and gladness; the bones you have crushed shall rejoice. Turn away your face from my sins, and blot out all my guilt.

领：求你赐我听见快慰和喜乐，使你粉碎的骨骸重新欢跃。求你掩面别看我的罪过，求你除掉我的一切罪恶。

 

R. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned.

【答】：上主，求你垂怜，因为我们犯了罪。

 

Gospel  MK 4:26-34

福音（一个人把种子撒在地里，当他睡时，种子发芽生长，至于怎样，他却不知道。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 4:26-34

 

Jesus said to the crowds: "This is how it is with the Kingdom of God; it is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land

那时，耶稣向群众说：“天主的国好比一个人把种子撒在地里，

 

and would sleep and rise night and day and the seed would sprout and grow, he knows not how.

他黑夜白天，或睡或起，那种子发芽生长，至于怎样，他却不知道。

 

Of its own accord the land yields fruit, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.

因为土地自然生长果实：先发苗，后吐穗，最后穗又满了麦粒。

 

And when the grain is ripe, he wields the sickle at once, for the harvest has come."

当果实成熟的时候，便立刻派人以镰刀收割，因为到了收获的时期。”

 

He said, "To what shall we compare the Kingdom of God, or what parable can we use for it?

他又说：“我们以什么比拟天主的国呢？或用什么比喻来形容它呢？

 

It is like a mustard seed that, when it is sown in the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth.

它好像一粒芥子，种在地里的时候，比地上一切的种子都小；

 

But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants and puts forth large branches, so that the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade."

当下种之后，生长起来，比一切蔬菜都大；并且长出大枝，以致天上的飞鸟能栖息在它的荫下。”

 

With many such parables he spoke the word to them as they were able to understand it.

耶稣用许多这样的比喻，按照他们所能听懂的，给他们讲道。

 

Without parables he did not speak to them, but to his own disciples he explained everything in private.

若不用比喻，他就不给他们讲什么，但私下里却给自己的门徒解释一切。
