Absalom unexpectedly came up against David's servants. He was mounted on a mule, and, as the mule passed under the branches of a large terebinth, his hair caught fast in the tree.

那时，阿贝沙隆正遇上了达味的臣仆，他正骑着一匹骡子，由大橡树的丛枝下经过，他的头发被橡树枝缠住，

 

He hung between heaven and earth while the mule he had been riding ran off.

身悬在天地间，所骑的骡子已跑走。

 

Someone saw this and reported to Joab that he had seen Absalom hanging from a terebinth.

有一个人看见，就告诉约阿布说：“我看见阿贝沙隆悬在橡树上。”

 

And taking three pikes in hand, he thrust for the heart of Absalom, still hanging from the tree alive.

约阿布就手里拿了三根短箭，射在阿贝沙隆心中。

 

Now David was sitting between the two gates, and a lookout went up to the roof of the gate above the city wall, where he looked about and saw a man running all alone.

那时，达味正坐在两门中间，守卫士兵上了门楼顶。守卫兵举目一望，见一人独自跑来，

 

The lookout shouted to inform the king, who said, "If he is alone, he has good news to report."

王说：“若是一个人，就是报喜讯的。”他越来越近了。

 

The king said, "Step aside and remain in attendance here." So he stepped aside and remained there.

王对报信者说：“你退在一边，站在那里。”他便退在一边，站在那里。

 

When the Cushite messenger came in, he said, "Let my lord the king receive the good news that this day the LORD has taken your part, freeing you from the grasp of all who rebelled against you."

雇士人也来到了，雇士人说：“有喜信报告给我主大王！上主今日对一切起来反抗你的人为你伸了冤。”

 

But the king asked the Cushite, "Is young Absalom safe?"

王问雇士人说：“少年阿贝沙隆是否无恙？”

 

The Cushite replied, "May the enemies of my lord the king and all who rebel against you with evil intent be as that young man!"

雇士人答说：“愿我主大王的仇敌，以及凡心怀恶意起来反抗你的人，都相似这个少年人！”

 

The king was shaken, and went up to the room over the city gate to weep.

君王一听这话，不胜悲伤，就上了门楼痛哭；

 

He said as he wept, "My son Absalom!  My son, my son Absalom!

他哭着说：“我儿阿贝沙隆！我儿；我儿阿贝沙隆！

 

If only I had died instead of you, Absalom, my son, my son!"

巴不得我替你死了！我儿阿贝沙隆！我儿！”

 

Joab was told that the king was weeping and mourning for Absalom;

有人报告约阿布说：“看，君王在痛哭哀悼阿贝沙隆。”

 

and that day's victory was turned into mourning for the whole army when they heard that the king was grieving for his son.

那天的胜利为全军竟变成了悲哀，因为他们那天听说君王为自己的儿子悲伤。

领：上主，求你侧耳俯听我，因为我可怜而又无告。求你保护我的灵魂，因为我热爱你，求你拯救你的仆人，因为我仰望你。

 

R. Listen, Lord, and answer me.

【答】：上主，求你侧耳俯听我。

 

Have mercy on me, O Lord, for to you I call all the day. Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

领：你是我的天主，求你怜悯我；上主，因为我时常向你哀告。求你使你仆人的心灵欢欣。上主，我向你举起我的心神。

【答】：上主，求你侧耳俯听我。

 

For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in kindness to all who call upon you. Hearken, O LORD, to my prayer and attend to the sound of my pleading.

领：我主，因为你又良善又慈悯，凡呼号你的，你必待他宽仁；上主，求你俯听我的祈祷，求你细听我恳求的哀号。

Gospel MK 5:21-43

福音（女孩子我命你起来！）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 5:21-43

 

When Jesus had crossed again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around him, and he stayed close to the sea.

耶稣乘船渡回对岸，有大伙群众聚集在他周围；他遂留在海滨。

 

One of the synagogue officials, named Jairus, came forward. Seeing him he fell at his feet and pleaded earnestly with him, saying, "My daughter is at the point of death.

那时，来了一个会堂长，名叫雅依洛，一见耶稣，就跪伏在他脚前，恳切求他说：“我的小女儿快要死了，

 

Please, come lay your hands on her that she may get well and live." He went off with him and a large crowd followed him.

请你来，给她覆手，叫她得救回生。”耶稣就同他去了。有一大群人跟随着他，拥挤着他。

 

There was a woman afflicted with hemorrhages for twelve years. She had suffered greatly at the hands of many doctors and had spent all that she had. Yet she was not helped but only grew worse.

那时，有一个妇人，患血漏已有十二年。她在许多医生手里，受了许多痛苦，花尽了自己所有的一切，不但没有见效，反而病势更加重了。

 

She had heard about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak. She said, "If I but touch his clothes, I shall be cured."

她听了有关耶稣的传说，便来到人群中，从后边摸了耶稣的衣裳，因为她心里想：“我只要一摸他的衣裳，必然会好的。”

 

Immediately her flow of blood dried up. She felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction.

她的血源立刻涸竭了，并且觉得身上的疾病也好了。

 

Jesus, aware at once that power had gone out from him, turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who has touched my clothes?"

耶稣立时觉得有一种能力从自己身上出去，就在人群中回过头来说：“谁摸了我的衣裳？”

 

But his disciples said to him, "You see how the crowd is pressing upon you, and yet you ask, Who touched me?"

他的门徒向他说：“你看！群众四面拥挤着你，你还问：谁摸了我？”

 

And he looked around to see who had done it. The woman, realizing what had happened to her, approached in fear and trembling. She fell down before Jesus and told him the whole truth.

耶稣四周观望，要看作这事的妇人。那妇人明知在自己身上所成的事，就战战兢兢地前来，跪伏在耶稣前，把实情完全告诉了他。

 

He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you. Go in peace and be cured of your affliction."

耶稣便向他说：“女儿，你的信德救了你，平安去吧！你的疾病必得痊愈。”

 

While he was still speaking, people from the synagogue official's house arrived and said, "Your daughter has died; why trouble the teacher any longer?"

他还说话的时候，有人从会堂长家里来，说：“你的女儿死了，你还来烦劳师傅做什么？”

 

Disregarding the message that was reported, Jesus said to the synagogue official, "Do not be afraid; just have faith."

耶稣听见所说的话，就给会堂长说：“不要怕，只管信。”

 

He did not allow anyone to accompany him inside except Peter, James, and John, the brother of James.

除伯多禄、雅各伯和雅各伯的弟弟若望外，他没有让任何人跟他去。

 

When they arrived at the house of the synagogue official, he caught sight of a commotion, people weeping and wailing loudly.

他们到了会堂长的家里，耶稣看见群众非常喧噪：有的哭泣，有的哀号，

 

So he went in and said to them, "Why this commotion and weeping? The child is not dead but asleep." And they ridiculed him.

便进去，给他们说：“你们为什么喧噪哭泣呢？小女孩并没有死，只是睡着了！”他们都讥笑他。

 

Then he put them all out. He took along the child's father and mother and those who were with him and entered the room where the child was.

他却把众人赶出去，带着小女孩的父亲和母亲，以及同他在一起的人，进了小女孩所在的地方。

 

He took the child by the hand and said to her, "Talitha koum," which means, "Little girl, I say to you, arise!"

他拿起小女孩的手，对她说：“塔里塔，古木！”意思是：“女孩子，我命你起来！”

 

The girl, a child of twelve, arose immediately and walked around. At that they were utterly astounded.

那女孩子就立刻起来行走，原来她已十二岁了；他们都惊讶得目瞪口呆。

 

He gave strict orders that no one should know this and said that she should be given something to eat.

耶稣却严厉命令他们，不要叫任何人知道这事；又吩咐给女孩子吃的。
