When the time of David's death drew near, he gave these instructions to his son Solomon: "I am going the way of all flesh. Take courage and be a man.

达味死的日子已经近了，便嘱咐自己的儿子撒罗满说：“我现在要走世人应走的路，你要作英勇有为的大丈夫，

 

Keep the mandate of the LORD, your God, following his ways and observing his statutes, commands, ordinances, and decrees as they are written in the law of Moses,

恪守上主你天主的典章，履行他的道路，遵守他的规律、诫命、法令和制度，如梅瑟法律上所记载的：

 

that you may succeed in whatever you do, wherever you turn, and the LORD may fulfill the promise he made on my behalf when he said, 'If your sons so conduct themselves

这样无论你做什么，无论你往何处去，必然顺利；上主也必履行他关于我所说的话，说：如果你的子孙固守他们的道路，

 

that they remain faithful to me with their whole heart and with their whole soul, you shall always have someone of your line on the throne of Israel.'"

真能全心全意在我面前行走，那么，你的后代就决不缺坐上以色列宝座的人。”

 

David rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David.

达味与自己的列祖同眠，葬在达味城。

 

The length of David's reign over Israel was forty years: he reigned seven years in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem.

达味作以色列王四十年：在赫贝龙作王七年，在耶路撒冷作王三十三年。

 

Solomon was seated on the throne of his father David, with his sovereignty firmly established.

撒罗满于是坐上了他父亲达味的宝座，他的王国很是巩固。

领：上主！伟大、能力、荣耀、壮丽和威严都归于你，因为上天下地所有的一切都是你的。

LORD, you are exalted over all. Yours, O LORD, is the sovereignty; you are exalted as head over all. Riches and honor are from you.

领：上主！王权属于你，你应受举扬为万有的元首。富贵和光荣由你而来。

In your hand are power and might; it is yours to give grandeur and strength to all.

Gospel MK 6:7-13

福音（耶稣开始派遣门徒出去。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 6:7-13

 

Jesus summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over unclean spirits.

那时候，耶稣叫来十二门徒，开始派遣他们两个两个地出去，赐给他们制伏邪魔的权柄，

 

He instructed them to take nothing for the journey but a walking stick –no food, no sack, no money in their belts.

嘱咐他们在路上除了一根棍杖外，什么也不要带：不要带食物，不要带口袋，也不要在腰带里带铜钱；

 

They were, however, to wear sandals but not a second tunic.

却要穿鞋，不要穿两件内衣。

 

He said to them, "Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave from there.

又对他们说：“你们无论在那里，进了一家，就住在那里，直到从那里离去；

 

Whatever place does not welcome you or listen to you, leave there and shake the dust off your feet in testimony against them."

无论何处不接待你们，或不听从你们，你们就从那里出去。拂去你们脚下的尘土，作为反对他们的证据。”

 

So they went off and preached repentance. The Twelve drove out many demons, and they anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them.

他们就出去宣讲，使人悔改，并驱逐了许多魔鬼，且给许多病人傅油，治好了他们。
