Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

First Reading: IS 58:7-10

读经一（你将光芒四射，有如黎明。）

恭读依撒意亚先知书　58:6-10

 

Thus says the LORD: Share your bread with the hungry, shelter the oppressed and the homeless; clothe the naked when you see them, and do not turn your back on your own.

上主这样说：（我所要求的禁食是：解除那不公开的锁链和轭的绳索，释放受压迫的人，破坏所有的轭；）把食物分给饥饿的人，把无地容身的贫穷人领到你家中，看见赤身露体的人给他衣服穿，不要轻视你的骨肉同胞。

 

Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your wound shall quickly be healed;

如果这样，你将光芒四射，有如黎明；你的伤口将会迅速复原；

 

your vindication shall go before you, and the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

你的救援要走在你前面。上主的光荣要作你的后盾。

 

Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am!

那时，你如呼喊，上主必要俯允；你若哀求，他必回答：‘我在这里！’

 

If you remove from your midst oppression, false accusation and malicious speech;

你如果从你当中消除欺压，及指手画脚的行为和虚伪的言谈；

 

if you bestow your bread on the hungry and satisfy the afflicted;

你如果把你的食粮，施舍给饥饿的人，满足贫穷者的心灵；

 

then light shall rise for you in the darkness, and the gloom shall become for you like midday.

那么，你的光明要在黑暗中升起，你的黑夜将成为白昼。”

R. The just man is a light in darkness to the upright.

【答】：上主富于仁爱，慈悲而又公道，像光明在黑暗中向义人照耀。

 

Light shines through the darkness for the upright; he is gracious and merciful and just. Well for the man who is gracious and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice.

领：上主富于仁爱，慈悲而又公道，像光明在黑暗中向义人照耀。乐善好施的人，必蒙赐福；他以正义处理事务。

 

R. The just man is a light in darkness to the upright.

【答】：上主富于仁爱，慈悲而又公道，像光明在黑暗中向义人照耀。

 

He shall never be moved; the just one shall be in everlasting remembrance. An evil report he shall not fear; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.

领：义人必永受纪念。噩耗不会使他惊慌，因为他仰赖上主，必心志坚强，总不动摇。

 

R. The just man is a light in darkness to the upright.

【答】：上主富于仁爱，慈悲而又公道，像光明在黑暗中向义人照耀。

 

His heart is steadfast; he shall not fear. Lavishly he gives to the poor; His justice shall endure forever; his horn shall be exalted in glory.

领：他心志坚强，无惧无忧。他散财赒济贫苦的人，他的仁义必万世流芳。他昂首阔步，受人敬仰。

 

R. The just man is a light in darkness to the upright.

【答】：上主富于仁爱，慈悲而又公道，像光明在黑暗中向义人照耀。

 

Second Reading : 1 COR 2:1-5

读经二（保禄只宣讲那被钉在十字架上的耶稣基督。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致格林多人前书　2:1-5

 

When I came to you, brothers and sisters, proclaiming the mystery of God, I did not come with sublimity of words or of wisdom.

弟兄姊妹们：就是我从前到你们那里时，也没有用高超的言论或智慧，给你们宣讲天主的奥义，

 

For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

因为我曾决定，在你们当中，不用知道别的，只知道耶稣基督，就是那被钉在十字架上的耶稣基督。

 

I came to you in weakness and fear and much trembling, and my message and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom,

而且，当我到你们那里的时候，又软弱，又恐惧，又战兢不安；并且我的言论和我的宣讲，并不在于智慧动听的言词，

 

but with a demonstration of Spirit and power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God.

而是在于圣神和他德能的表现，为使你们的信德，不是凭人的智慧，而是凭天主的德能。

Gospel MT 5:13-16

Jesus said to his disciples: “You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned?

那时候，耶稣对门徒说：“你们是地上的盐，盐若失了味，可用什么使它再咸呢？

 

It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

它再毫无用途，只好抛在外边，任人践踏罢了。

 

You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.

你们是世界的光；建在山上的城，是不能隐藏的。

 

Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house.

人点灯，并不是放在斗底下，而是放在灯台上，照耀屋中所有的人。

 

Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.”

照样，你们的光，也当在人前照耀，好使他们看见你们的善行，光荣你们在天之父。”
