First Reading: 1 KGS 11:4-13

读经一（因为你不遵守我的盟约，我必要夺去你的王国；但是为了我仆人达味，我要给你的儿子留下一个支派。）

恭读列王纪上 11:4-13

 

When Solomon was old his wives had turned his heart to strange gods, and his heart was not entirely with the LORD, his God, as the heart of his father David had been.

当撒罗满年老的时候，妻妾们迷惑了他的心，勾引他去崇拜别的神；他的心已不像他父亲达味的心，全属于上主他的天主。

 

By adoring Astarte, the goddess of the Sidonians, and Milcom, the idol of the Ammonites,

这样，他随从了漆冬人的女神阿巿托勒特，和阿孟人的可憎之物米耳公。

 

Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not follow him unreservedly as his father David had done.

撒罗满作了上主眼中视为恶的事，不像他父亲达味那样全心服从上主。

 

Solomon then built a high place to Chemosh, the idol of Moab, and to Molech, the idol of the Ammonites, on the hill opposite Jerusalem.

那时，撒罗满在耶路撒冷东面的山上，为摩阿布人的可憎之物革摩士，为阿孟子民的可憎之物摩肋客，修筑了丘坛，

 

He did the same for all his foreign wives who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.

他为所有的外国妻妾，都修筑了丘坛，各给自己的神焚香献祭。

 

The LORD, therefore, became angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice

上主遂向撒罗满发怒，因为他的心偏离了两次显现给他的上主以色列的天主。

 

(for though the LORD had forbidden him this very act of following strange gods, Solomon had not obeyed him).

当时，上主对此事曾吩咐过他，不可去随从别的神，但他却没有遵守上主的命令。

 

So the LORD said to Solomon: "Since this is what you want, and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes which I enjoined on you, I will deprive you of the kingdom and give it to your servant.

于是，上主对撒罗满说：“你既然这样行事，不遵守我的盟约，和我吩咐你的诫命，我必要夺去你的王国，赐给你的一个臣仆。

 

I will not do this during your lifetime, however, for the sake of your father David; it is your son whom I will deprive. Nor will I take away the whole kingdom.

虽然如此，但为了你父亲达味的缘故，在你有生之日，我不作这事；我将要由你儿子手中夺去。

 

I will leave your son one tribe for the sake of my servant David and of Jerusalem, which I have chosen."

但是仍不完全夺去，为了我仆人达味和我所拣选的耶路撒冷，我仍给你的儿子留下一支派。”

【答】：上主，为了你对百姓的仁慈，求你记念我们。

 

Blessed are they who observe what is right, who do always what is just. Remember us, O LORD, as you favor your people; visit us with your saving help.

领：遵守诫命的人真是有福！时时行义的人，真是有福！上主，求你为了你对百姓的仁慈，记念我，又求你按照你施救的扶助，看顾我。

 

R. Remember us, O Lord, as you favor your people.

【答】：上主，为了你对百姓的仁慈，求你记念我们。

 

But they mingled with the nations and learned their works. They served their idols, which became a snare for them.

领：我们的祖先同异民混杂来往，学会他们的不良习尚，竟崇拜了异民的偶像，偶像成了他们的罗网。

 

R. Remember us, O Lord, as you favor your people.

【答】：上主，为了你对百姓的仁慈，求你记念我们。

 

They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons. And the LORD grew angry with his people, and abhorred his inheritance.

领：他们竟杀了自己的儿女，把他们奉献给邪魔恶鬼，为此上主向百姓大发愤怒，并对自己的人民憎恨厌恶。

 

R. Remember us, O Lord, as you favor your people.

【答】：上主，为了你对百姓的仁慈，求你记念我们。

 

Gospel MK 7:24-30

福音（小狗在桌子底下，也可吃孩子掉下的碎屑。）

Jesus went to the district of Tyre. He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it, but he could not escape notice.

耶稣从勒乃撒勒动身，往提洛和漆冬境内去了。耶稣进了一家，不愿任何人知道，但是不能隐藏。

 

Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him. She came and fell at his feet.

当下就有一个妇人，她的女儿附了邪魔，一听说耶稣，就来跪伏在他脚前。

 

The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.

这妇人是个外邦人，生于叙利腓尼基；她恳求耶稣把魔鬼从她女儿身上赶出去。

 

He said to her, "Let the children be fed first. For it is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs."

耶稣向她说：“应先让儿女们吃饱了，因为拿儿女的饼扔给小狗是不对的。”

 

She replied and said to him, "Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children's scraps."

那妇人却回答说：“主，是啊！可是小狗在桌子底下，也可吃到孩子们的碎屑呢！”

 

Then he said to her, "For saying this, you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter."

耶稣对她说：“为了这句话，你去吧！魔鬼已从你女儿身上出去了！”

 

When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.

她一回到自己家里，看见孩子躺在床上，魔鬼已出去了。
