Jeroboam thought to himself: "The kingdom will return to David's house.

那时候，雅洛贝罕心中思量：“这王国迟早要归于达味王室；

 

If now this people go up to offer sacrifices in the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem,

如果这人民上耶路撒冷，在上主殿内献祭，

 

the hearts of this people will return to their master, Rehoboam, king of Judah, and they will kill me."

他们的心难免不归向他们的主上犹大王勒哈贝罕，把我打死，再归属于犹大王勒哈贝罕。”

 

After taking counsel, the king made two calves of gold and said to the people: "You have been going up to Jerusalem long enough.

因此，雅洛贝罕王拿定了主意，制造了两只金牛犊，对人民说：“你们不需要再上耶路撒冷去了；

 

Here is your God, O Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt."

以色列！看，这就是领你们由埃及地上来的天主！”

 

And he put one in Bethel, the other in Dan. This led to sin, because the people frequented those calves in Bethel and in Dan.

他将一只供在贝特耳，一只供在丹。这使以色列陷于罪恶，因为民众竟远至丹去敬拜另一只。

 

He also built temples on the high places and made priests from among the people who were not Levites.

雅洛贝罕又在高丘创建了神殿，将不属于肋未子孙的平民立为司祭；

 

Jeroboam established a feast in the eighth month on the fifteenth day of the month to duplicate in Bethel the pilgrimage feast of Judah,

规定八月十五日举行庆节，像在犹大所举行的庆节一样，亲自上坛献祭。

 

with sacrifices to the calves he had made; and he stationed in Bethel priests of the high places he had built.

他也如此在贝特耳向他所制造的牛犊献了祭，并在贝特耳为他建造的高丘神坛，委派了司祭。

 

Jeroboam did not give up his evil ways after this, but again made priests for the high places from among the common people.

这事以后，雅洛贝罕始终没有离开他作恶的道路，仍继续从平民中选派高丘的司祭；

 

Whoever desired it was consecrated and became a priest of the high places.

凡是愿意的，他就祝圣他们当高丘的司祭。

 

This was a sin on the part of the house of Jeroboam for which it was to be cut off and destroyed from the earth.

雅洛贝罕家因此陷于罪恶，招致丧亡，由地上消灭。

We have sinned, we and our fathers; we have committed crimes; we have done wrong. Our fathers in Egypt considered not your wonders.

领：上主，我们和我们的祖先都犯过罪，都曾为非作歹而都无恶不为：我们的祖先在埃及的时期，对你奇迹的意义总不领会。

 

R. Remember us, O Lord, as you favor your people.

【答】：上主，为了你对百姓的仁慈，求你记念我们。

 

They made a calf in Horeb and adored a molten image; They exchanged their glory for the image of a grass-eating bullock.

领：他们在曷勒布制造了牛犊，竟崇拜了金铸的一个神偶；将自己的光荣天主，变成了吃草的牛犊。

 

R. Remember us, O Lord, as you favor your people.

【答】：上主，为了你对百姓的仁慈，求你记念我们。

 

They forgot the God who had saved them, who had done great deeds in Egypt, Wondrous deeds in the land of Ham, terrible things at the Red Sea.

领：他们竟将拯救自己的天主忘记：他曾在埃及地显示了奇事，他也曾在含邦施行过灵迹，他也曾在红海发显过奇异。

【答】：上主，为了你对百姓的仁慈，求你记念我们。

 

Gospel MK 8:1-10

福音（众人都吃饱了。）

恭读圣马尔谷福音 8:1-10

 

In those days when there again was a great crowd without anything to eat, Jesus summoned the disciples and said,

在那些日子，有一大群人，没有什么吃的了。耶稣叫过门徒来，给他们说：

 

"My heart is moved with pity for the crowd, because they have been with me now for three days and have nothing to eat.

“我很怜悯这批群众，因为他们同我在一起已经三天，也没有什么可吃的了。

 

If I send them away hungry to their homes, they will collapse on the way, and some of them have come a great distance."

我若遣散他们空着肚子各自回家，他们必要在路上晕倒；况且他们中还有些是从远处来的。”

 

His disciples answered him, "Where can anyone get enough bread to satisfy them here in this deserted place?"

门徒回答说：“在这荒野里，人从那里能得饼，使这些人吃饱呢？”

 

Still he asked them, "How many loaves do you have?" They replied, "Seven." He ordered the crowd to sit down on the ground.

耶稣问他们说：“你们有多少饼？”他们说：“七个。”耶稣就吩咐群众坐在地上，

 

Then, taking the seven loaves he gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to distribute, and they distributed them to the crowd.

拿起那七个饼来，祝谢了，擘开，递给他的门徒，叫他们分开；他们就给群众分开。

 

They also had a few fish. He said the blessing over them and ordered them distributed also. They ate and were satisfied. They picked up the fragments left over–seven baskets.

又有几条小鱼，耶稣祝福后，也吩咐把这些小鱼分开。人都吃饱了，把剩下来的碎块收集了七篮子。

 

There were about four thousand people. He dismissed the crowd and got into the boat with his disciples and came to the region of Dalmanutha.

人数约有四千；然后耶稣遣散了他们，即刻同门徒上船，来到了达玛奴达境内。
