Fifth Sunday of Lent

四旬期第五主日

 

 

First Reading: EZ 37:12-14

读经一（我要把我的神注入你们内，使你们复活。）

恭读厄则克耳先知书　37:12-14

 

Thus says the Lord GOD: O my people, I will open your graves and have you rise from them, and bring you back to the land of Israel.

吾主上主这样说：“看，我要亲自打开你们的坟墓；我的百姓，我要从你们的坟墓中，把你们领出来，引你们进入以色列地域。

 

Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and have you rise from them, O my people!

我的百姓！当我打开你们的坟墓，把你们从坟墓领出来的时候，你们便承认我是上主。

 

I will put my spirit in you that you may live, and I will settle you upon your land; thus you shall know that I am the LORD.

我要把我的神注入你们内，使你们复活，叫你们安居在你们的地域，那时，你们便要承认我，

 

I have promised, and I will do it, says the LORD.

上主言出必行 ── 吾主上主的断语。”

Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; LORD, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to my voice in supplication.

领：上主，我由深渊向祢呼号；我主，求祢俯听我的呼号，求祢侧耳俯听我的哀祷！

 

R. With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

【答】：上主富于仁慈，祂必定慷慨救援。

 

If you, O LORD, mark iniquities, LORD, who can stand? But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.

领：上主，祢若细察我的罪辜，我主，有谁还能站立得住？可是，祢以宽恕为怀，令人对祢起敬起爱。

 

R. With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

【答】：上主富于仁慈，祂必定慷慨救援。

 

I trust in the LORD; my soul trusts in his word. More than sentinels wait for the dawn, let Israel wait for the LORD.

领：我仰赖上主，我灵期待祂的圣言；我灵等候我主，切于更夫待旦。以色列，请仰赖上主。

 

R. With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

【答】：上主富于仁慈，祂必定慷慨救援。

 

For with the LORD is kindness and with him is plenteous redemption; And he will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.

领：因为上主富于仁慈，祂必定慷慨救援。祂必要拯救以色列人，脱离一切罪根。

 

R. With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

【答】：上主富于仁慈，祂必定慷慨救援。

 

Second Reading : ROM 8:8-11

读经二（使耶稣从死者中复活者的圣神住在你们内。）

恭读圣保禄宗徒致罗马人书　8:8-11

 

Brothers and sisters: Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

弟兄姊妹们：凡随从肉性的人，决不能得天主的欢心。

 

But you are not in the flesh; on the contrary, you are in the spirit, if only the Spirit of God dwells in you.

至于你们，你们已不属于肉性，而是属于圣神，只要天主的圣神，住在你们内。

 

Whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

谁若没有基督的圣神，谁就不属于基督。

 

But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

如果基督在你们内，身体固然因罪恶而死亡，但神魂却赖正义而生活。

 

If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also, through his Spirit dwelling in you.

再者，如果那使耶稣从死者中复活者的圣神，住在你们内，那么，那使基督从死者中复活的，也必要藉那住在你们内的圣神，使你们有死的身体复活。

Gospel JN 11:1-45

福音（我就是复活，就是生命。）

Now a man was ill, Lazarus from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.

那时候，有一个病人，名叫拉匝禄，住在伯达尼，即玛利亚和她姐姐玛尔大所住的村庄。

 

Mary was the one who had anointed the Lord with perfumed oil and dried his feet with her hair; it was her brother Lazarus who was ill.

玛利亚就是那曾用香液傅抹过主，并用自己的头发，把祂的脚擦干的妇人；患病的拉匝禄是她的兄弟。

 

So the sisters sent word to him saying, “Master, the one you love is ill.”

他们姊妹两人，便派人到耶稣那里，说：“主啊，祢所爱的人病了！”

 

When Jesus heard this he said, “This illness is not to end in death, but is for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

耶稣听了，便说：“这病不至于死，只是为彰显天主的光荣，并为叫天主子因此受到光荣。”

 

Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So when he heard that he was ill, he remained for two days in the place where he was.

耶稣素来疼爱玛尔大及她的妹妹和拉匝禄。当耶稣听说拉匝禄病了，仍在原地逗留了两天。

 

Then after this he said to his disciples, “Let us go back to Judea.”

此后，耶稣对门徒说：“我们再到犹太去吧！”

 

The disciples said to him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just trying to stone you, and you want to go back there?”

门徒向他说：“辣彼，近来犹太人图谋砸死你，你还要到那里去么？”

 

Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in a day? If one walks during the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But if one walks at night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

耶稣回答说：“白日不是有十二个时辰么？人若在白日行路，不会碰跌，因为看得见这世界的光；人若在黑夜行路，就要碰跌，因为他没有光。”

 

He said this, and then told them, “Our friend Lazarus is asleep, but I am going to awaken him.”

耶稣说了这些话，又给门徒说：“我们的朋友拉匝禄睡着了，我要去叫醒他。”

 

So the disciples said to him, “Master, if he is asleep, he will be saved.”

门徒便对耶稣说：“主，如果他睡着了，必定会好的。”

 

But Jesus was talking about his death, while they thought that he meant ordinary sleep.

耶稣原本是指拉匝禄的死说的，门徒却以为耶稣是指安眠睡觉。

 

So then Jesus said to them clearly, “Lazarus has died. And I am glad for you that I was not there, that you may believe. Let us go to him.”

然后，耶稣就明明地向门徒说：“拉匝禄死了。为了你们，我喜欢我不在那里，好叫你们相信。我们到他那里去吧！”

 

So Thomas, called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go to die with him.”

号称狄狄摩的多默，便向其他同伴说：“我们也去，同祂一起死吧！”

 

When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days.

耶稣一到了伯达尼，得知拉匝禄在坟墓里，已经四天了。

 

Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, only about two miles away. And many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them about their brother.

伯达尼靠近耶路撒冷，相距约十五‘斯塔狄’，因而有许多犹太人，来到玛尔大和玛利亚那里，为她们兄弟的死，安慰她们。

 

When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him; but Mary sat at home.

玛尔大一听说耶稣来了，便去迎接他；玛利亚仍坐在家里。

 

Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you.”

玛尔大对耶稣说：“主！如果祢在这里，我的兄弟决不会死！就是现在，我也知道：祢无论向天主求什么，天主必要赐给祢。”

 

Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him, “I know he will rise, in the resurrection on the last day.”

耶稣对玛尔大说：“你的兄弟必定要复活。”玛尔大说：“我知道在末日复活时，他必要复活。”

 

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

耶稣对玛尔大说：“我就是复活，就是生命；信从我的，即使死了，仍要活着；凡活着而信从我的人，必永远不死。你信么？”

 

She said to him, “Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, the one who is coming into the world.”

玛尔大回答说：“是的，主，我信祢是默西亚，天主子，要来到世界上的那一位。”

 

When she had said this, she went and called her sister Mary secretly, saying, “The teacher is here and is asking for you.”

玛尔大说了这话，就去叫她的妹妹玛利亚，偷偷地说：“师傅来了，祂叫你。”

 

As soon as she heard this, she rose quickly and went to him. For Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was still where Martha had met him.

玛利亚一听这话，就立刻起身，到耶稣那里去。那时，耶稣还没有进入村庄，仍在玛尔大迎接祂的地方。

 

So when the Jews who were with her in the house comforting her saw Mary get up quickly and go out, they followed her, presuming that she was going to the tomb to weep there.

那些陪同和安慰玛利亚的犹太人，见玛利亚急忙起身出去，便跟着她，以为她到坟墓去哭泣。

 

When Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”

当玛利亚来到耶稣所在的地方，一看见耶稣，就俯伏在他脚前，向他说：“主！如果祢在这里，我的兄弟决不会死！”

 

When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping, he became perturbed and deeply troubled, and said, “Where have you laid him?”

耶稣看见玛利亚哭泣，还有同她一起来的犹太人也哭泣；耶稣便心神感伤，难过起来，于是说：“你们把他安放在那里？”

 

They said to him, “Sir, come and see.” And Jesus wept.

他们回答说：“主，你来，看吧！”耶稣哭了。

 

So the Jews said, “See how he loved him.”

于是犹太人说：“看，祂多么爱他啊！”

 

But some of them said, “Could not the one who opened the eyes of the blind man have done something so that this man would not have died?”

其中有些人说：“这个开了瞎子眼睛的人，难道不能使这人不死么？”

 

So Jesus, perturbed again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay across it. Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”

耶稣心中又感伤起来，来到坟墓前。这坟墓是个洞穴，前面有一块石头堵着。耶稣说：“挪开这块石头！”

 

Martha, the dead man’s sister, said to him, “Lord, by now there will be a stench; he has been dead for four days.”

死者的姐姐玛尔大向耶稣说：“主！已经臭了，因为已经四天了。”

 

Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?” So they took away the stone.

耶稣对玛尔大说：“我不是告诉过你：如果你信，就会看到天主的光荣吗？”他们便挪开了石头。

 

And Jesus raised his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you for hearing me. I know that you always hear me; but because of the crowd here I have said this, that they may believe that you sent me.”

耶稣举目向上说：“父啊！我感谢祢，因为祢俯听了我。我本来知道祢常常俯听我，但是，我说这话，是为了四周站立的群众，好叫他们相信，是祢派遣了我。”

 

And when he had said this, He cried out in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”

说完这话，便大声喊说：“拉匝禄！出来吧！”

 

The dead man came out, tied hand and foot with burial bands, and his face was wrapped in a cloth. So Jesus said to them, “Untie him and let him go.”

死者便出来了，脚和手都缠着布条，面上还蒙着汗巾。耶稣向他们说：“解开他，让他行走吧。”

 

Now many of the Jews who had come to Mary and seen what he had done began to believe in him.

那些来到玛利亚那里的犹太人，一看到耶稣所行的事，就有许多人相信了祂。
